like what's conisdered a unique item?

I don't think any item is unique on this site; there is more than one of everything I think...if that's what you meant.

Not multiples of the same thing. If you had 14 slots sporks and 37 red balls, you would have 51 items, but only 2 unique items.

Er, there aren't any. Individual items are classified as 'unique' in your shop item count; multiples of one aren't.
