If having one bottle of Lizard Minion Repellant in your inventory gives you a 25% chance of getting the item, does two give you a 50% chance?

I don't think having two of the same item does anything but if you have both of the trap and the replant it gives you a much higher percentage. I have both locked in my inventory and never miss a event or not get a item.
