Hey there my fellow art makers i was wondering about the program gimp. Would anyone know a safe site to download it from by chance??

Um, where else would you get the safest freeware other than the main site that offers it? Just click download GIMP 2.6.8, and the exe should get started.

-cho Ive never tried gimp though I know a lot of people who like it cause its free :3 If you would like to try another free program, I really like Paint Tool SAI. Its free and has some great features.

I love GIMP! I downloaded it from their site ages ago (2 years maybe? 3?). I use it for everything though and I've never had any issues with it.

I loved GIMP, but it hates my tablet.... doesn't allow sensitivity, at least not very well

I love GIMP, it's the best free program out there. It's always been great for me, never had any problems with it at all.

I use GIMP with my tablet - it does allow sensitivity, but isn't too smooth when I'm using sensitivity for size. However it works great when I'm using sensitivity for colour and/or opacity, and works great for size when in combo with jitter.

And yeah :) I like it cos it's free.
