On the sidebar, isnt it possible for friends to see what recent activites you have just done? The friend feed, right? Is it possible to do something so that if a friend does have this option on their sidebar, that I wont show up on it?

You can change what friends can and can't see on their feed under Privacy Options on the Friend Feed page.
