is there a way you can redeem yourself in the eyes of the pirates? or will i never be allowed in port plunder?

If you were an islander there was a flower in the free shop you could use. It had an option to Throw Flower I believe. But you have to spend all your Islander points before doing so, or lose them forever. mourns 1600 lost points

You can use a to pay your respects and ultimately have access to port plunder. However, like the above poster said you will lose your islander points forever if you haven't spent them.
