So recently I bought an Enchanted Hypnosis Wand to change the name of one of my pets, but it didn't give me that option, rather only redeem it for CSC. I wasn't opposed to that or anything, but I was just wondering if there was still a way to change a pet's name completely or not. Thank you for the help.

It's still possible. Go to the page where all your pets are listed and open the drop down menu of the pet you want to rename, part of the list of options is then "Change Name". C:

piggybacking off what madness said, they changed it a while back so that the enchanted hypnosis wand doesn't change the name anymore, you have to use csc now
