I'm not sure if this is in the right forum or not. If it's not just let me know politely and I'll move it. Does anyone know how to put holes in seashells to make necklaces without using an electric drill or Dremel tool?

I probably would have put this in the general creativity forum. This forum is more for drawings.

But, to address your question, it depends on the shell. If it's thin enough, I'll poke it with a thumbtack. But it has to be really thin, so that probably doesn't help much.

ok I think I'm pretty much done with this thread since I already finished the necklace. I ended up sitting there for two hours with a safety pin trying to poke a hole in that stupid shell. Thanks for your advice. :)
