If i was to save all of my trinkets, can you still purchase items from the shops after the event?

I'd imagine the shops would close after the event. D:

They stayed open all year. I had a ton left over from the event and when the wardrobe achievements came out I spent them all on the wearables. People still have trinkets left over from last year they are using.

Yeah, the store stays open. That's how I managed to start the event off with some leftover trinkets from last year!
