I've got Raikov already to go and I have a friend who knows the character/fandom checking his story for me from a fandom point of view, but it would be great if I could get him looked at by others too.

This is how the profile looks to me: The 'comic' takes up the whole rectangle neatly, though the right hand border is slanted and gets cut off x_X I'll be fixing that tomorrow.

Don't really know too much about the Metal Gear fandom so hopefully I'm a good candidate for this haha. Had a read and I do find the story easy to follow. The main thing is how Raikov refers to other characters. Major, commander etc. I don't know peoples titles knowing next to nothing about the fandom, so I lost track of who was speaking to who once or twice. The only other thing was possibly adding a little more background information that someone not from the fandom wouldn't know, but would be considered important by someone who was familiar with the content. I'M BEING VERY VAGUE, but it kinda seemed like I was missing a few things relevant to the plot? I'm probably wrong.

There's one spelling mistake in the whole story (nitpicky but figured you'd like to know haha.) In the a sound clicked through the rain segment, Liar is spelled Lier. This sentence also seemed a little long, "I couldn't open my eyes, they were clenched so hard they might as well be welded shut, probably for the best, if I'd looked on that fire ravaged, bullet torn body in that moment I think I might have vomited." Maybe its structure could be reshuffled or even turned into two sentences.

For your mentioned dot points, the black line is from the layout you're using as not all of them do that, only the newer ones because they have some coding issues. (I'm using the luminaire one right now and it actually fucks up pet profiles by not hiding background colours completely.) I feel like there's some coding that WILL hide that black line though, the coding whiz may know how to sort that.

The profile looks great other than that on my screen and my screen isn't huge. Love the way you've got the comic coded and displayed. Really like the profile

i had to change to the morostide layout to see the black line at the top right (it's not there with arctic frost), and then tried out this in the css editor and it worked (i think??) {border: none} it's been a while since i did any coding :'D

also you can link the pet gifting thing with this since i'm prone to name changing and it's been two usernames since i was damien. LOL /shot

i just rolled out of bed so i'm not able to read the story and actually absorb what i'm reading yet, but i can tell you that the layout looks fine on my piddly little 1366 x 768 screen

The only part of the profile messed up on my screen is the thing that shows the pet species type. The text for the pet being nominated for pet spotlight is layered over the pet type so they kind of cancel each other out, so I can't tell what color pherret he is. I'm not sure if that's an issue, but if it is you may want to separate the links so they don't overlap. I actually didn't get the black line on the layout, so I don't have that issue, but that may be a layout issue. I know I use the Morostide subeta layout and don't have an issue with it as far as I can tell.

I agree on adding some background information, because while it is easy to follow for the most part, context would probably be better for those who are either unfamiliar with the fandom or like me, just not quite up to speed on it.

Otherwise, I had no major issues following the story that I could tell and that's with me not necessarily being a major follower of the Metal Gear fandom other than having played one of the ages ages ago.

looks fine to me. Although on my screen the nominate for pet spotlight link is under or over the pet sex and type, I think it's being squished by my screen size (13" laptop) which is 1440 x 900.

It's such an awkward series for trying to write short 'stand alone' stories for, Raikov is a tiny bit part character and even his story is spread over two games OTL so I'm never sure how to explain what's going on without writing a novel. Are there any specific bits that left you confused? I might be able to expand on those areas.

I know it's the layout, but on some of my profiles it's not there ;; normally the ones coded by other peeps lets be fair, and I've never been sure what fixed it dies

That comic though... took me a year to finish and I really wish I could be asked to go back and get all the panels up to the same standard ;A; but I'm afraid it might take me another year

Any specific areas? Being up to date for the most part with the story line I automatically fill in the gaps, I can't tell which bits people might not know.

That's been fixed now, it was just the switch from 'Nominate' to 'Nominated', which is twice as long. I've also fixed up that line.

Everything looks alright to me. The story is understandable and easy to follow even if I haven't played the games. My only criticism is the random chibi in his bio. It just looks off compared to everything else on his page. I understand it being in his fanart section, but not in his bio.

Yeah I need to move that ;A; it doesn't fit the story any more but god damn do I love that chibi.

It's mostly what metal said. I'm only familiar with the Metal Gear Solid for Playstation 2 and it's been a long time since I even played that, to be honest.

For the most part, metal already stated most of what I had an issue with.

The references to the American did confuse me a bit, mostly because I initially thought it was a reference to Solid Snake, but realized toward the end it wasn't. It might be good to give a context to that term, if that's meant to be a particular character that isn't Snake himself.
