What special characters can you use in pet names? And also, is there any way I can put a small comment box on my pet profiles?

you can pretty much use anything as far as I know, just try it out and no to the comment box question :)

Well, so far everything I've tried hasn't worked. :S Does anyone have a list of ones that are acceptable? All I know that is acceptable is the little a with the two dots above it.

It all depends if your computer can recognise the character. c: While you may not be able to see it, chances are, other users can.

My computer recognizes a lot of characters, it's just that Subeta's not actually accepting them. It says "invalid character" whenever I try anything so far. Do you know any characters that definitely work, besides the a?

Special characters aren't allowed in Pet Names anymore so I think apart from A-Z, 0-9, score, underscore, period and spaces nothing works. All existing Pets with special characters in their name have been created before the new rule was introduced. ^^;

You can still put spaces (So like, a last and first name), and underscores... I'd imagine hyphens, too. The upside down ! (a Spanish character) I think still works; though I'm not sure. |D
