to turn off the drop down list and auto-completer on the user shop search. It can be helpful sometimes but it's been getting in my way while doing quests and I would like to know if I could get rid of it in some way.

As far as I know there is currently no way to disable these features. Which is a pity, because I also find them quite obnoxious on occasion. (Here is when I wish someone would come in and prove me wrong and show us how to do it)

This removes the choices from showing up in a blank box - like search. {display: none;}
