You can't actually adopt a Bumbus! They turn into common Kumoses when pounded/transfered.

... I just transferred two Bumbi recently and they remained as Bumbi. But, I'm not sure if you have to have access to the Blue Building for the pet to remain a Bumbus on your account.

Yeah, I don't have access to it at this point. Either way, i wouldn't be able to avoid it. Ah well- thanks anywho.
