Resort
Your pet Phinean is out of the resort!

It just seems a little strange that this is one of the only events that doesn't give a link to the page it's from. It's not that big a problem for me since I know where the resort is, but why doesn't it link to the resort? When I get shop purchases it provides a link to my own shop, which, I should hope I know where it is.

I just think that the event for pets finishing their time in the resort should link to the resort itself. Thoughts?

I could be wrong, but I thought the alerts that you set for the resort do link back. Mine do for sure, but I go to Rathskeller Inn. I thought the regular resort ones do too? And then they still send you an alert for every pet when they get out without a link, whether you set it or not.

I go to normal Veta Lake resort and when I get an alert for my pet Phinean it's just normal text, not a link.

Huh that's weird. Do you only get the one alert, because as far as I know they were still broken? (Hence why I also get two for every pet I set an alert for). The first is always just text and the second has a link, but they all just say "resort" even though I go to the Inn so I don't know why the two places would be different.

Edited for clarification

Yes I only get one because I only put one pet in. The event saying the pet is leaving should be linked and not plain text, it's what I'm trying to say.

That's not what I'm saying. Normally the resorts send two alerts per pet, which as far as I know is still happening (it still is for the Inn, and I've been putting one pet in for only a few days at a time since I don't know when the others get out). I don't know why the two locations would be different (as in, one fixed and one not) when all of the alerts say "resort" regardless of where your pet is. Of the two alerts per pet, one comes regardless of if you set an alert and the other, that you set, has the link. At least that's how it works for me.

Sorry I'm confused. I've only ever used Veta Lake Resort and only ever gotten one event per pet.

Are you actually manually setting an alert? If so, then I don't know why it works right for you but if not, that's probably why you don't get the link.

I didn't know there's a way to manually set an alert. When I put a pet in the resort it says "(name) is fully booked into the resort for (days) days! You'll get an alert when they are out!" then when the time comes I get 1 event per pet with no link to the resort.

Honestly I didn't know there was even more than one resort... Maybe I should just use the other instead .-. I'm too confused

Alright I just went there because this is getting really complicated, and since they changed the resort they no longer have the button to add an alert (which I didn't realize since I don't use it). So I'm sorry about that :x In that case, I agree it should have a link. I was going off of the old resort + the Inn that still gives double alerts, one with a link and one without. Sorry again for the confusion >.<

aha! This is a good idea.

I was reading this thread with as much confustion as . There is another resort, the Rathskellar Inn, it is in the Omen Islands and for you to get there, you need to complete an Uncharted map. The Rathskellar Inn does give you a double alert, and the Lakeside Resort used to do the same. When you use the RI, you get the option to set an alert. If you do not choose alert, you get one Event that says the pet is out, but there's no link. If you do choose alert, you get two Events one of which is a link.

You might want to change the way your original post is written, so that everyone understands you. There's two things (IMO) that should be improved. The LR needs an alert button (unless this is a GA thing?) and the RI needs to have duplicates removed.

Yes please. :( The double alerts were annoying, and then their solution was to remove the manually-set alerts and leave the auto alerts so you get a huge pile at once. I'd rather the opposite so I can just set one alert. All my pets are on the same schedule so I don't need 12 alerts at once. (And a link would be nice)

Slightly off-topic: Is there any difference between the resort and Rathskeller Inn? Pricing, feeding times, anything?

You can't get to Rathskellar unless you have access to the Omen Islands, which is a significant cost right there. The Inn allows you to go for 31 days and costs 200 sP per diem. You are not allowed to mass-check-in like you can at Lakeview, you have to go one pet at a time even if you're GA.

Lakeview only allows 21 days, and tells you how much time you have left, even if you are checked into Rathskellar (RI won't tell you). Even though the max time in Lakeview is 21 it still counts Rathskellar accurately. I only have one free pet right now that I need to make eat, so I don't know what LR charges.

Neither one allows you to check out early.

Gold Account Perk: You can put all of your pets in the resort for 4,000sP/day! It's an extra 50sP per pet for the advantage!
