do the items themselves disappear when you open them or are they a part of the trunk as well?

The item itself would disappear, it gets replaced by what is in it.

well that kind of stinks. So if I find someone to buy my for me, I'll just have to leave it as is, right?

If you want the actual cards as an item, then yes.

aw, oh well. I do just want the item itself, so thanks for the info. Now to find someone to trade it for my 500 CSC hopefully >_>
