I'm just wondering if there are any use beyond collecting, selling, and trading for the cards that are sold in the card shop. Are the dice used for anything?

Neither of them are used for anything. Cards are just for collecting for the moment, though there is talk from Keith about it possibly being integrated into a game

So then Card Crusade doesn't actually rely on your having any cards, dice, counters, or packs?

Guess I'll just collect then.
