I have chosen bald in the avatar editor. It saves and even shows me bald, and yet, I still have this hair when I go to put clothes on. How do you get the hair to go away?

Have you clicked "Wear saved outfit", even if you are naked? ;)

You need to go to the hair salon and select 'back to normal'.
