I've been wearing the Monocle and enjoying hex free ToTing until just now. I got hexed and turned into this toaster.

The Monocle doesn't prevent getting a trick from what I've seen. It only greatly increases you're chance of getting a Treat rather than a trick.

Does it? I've been ToTing for days and not gotten hexed. Foo thats no fun.

Okay, thanks I didn't know that. I thought it blocked getting hexed at all. Oh well

The Protective Sage from last year acts the same. They don't work together, alas.
