I've gotten the RE that says "Maliss looks up at you, but walks away before you can catch it. :(" twice today. Is it possible to catch it? And if so, what do I need to keep in my inventory?

It seems like I have read somewhere that it is just a useless random event. I am not 100% sure though.

You can't catch it sadly, it's just a fun event (and an evil one D:)
