Is there going to be one this year? I just noticed myself that there isn't one for 2013...

IIRC, the achievement didn't come out until pretty late last year. The achievement can't be awarded until 12/31 anyway. :)

What I do worry about is if it isn't tracking our Melody visits properly. I do feel that staff should consider stuff like this by the time they release it.

Anyway, I think Amber said the reason for why it isn't out yet is because they are trying to think of a prize for the perfect 31.

well i mean obviously those items are worth it (they are all so adorable omg you guys haven't even seen some of the best ones yet) but WE HAVE TO HAVE A GRAND PRIZE ITEM THAT IS ALSO WORTH IT.

Turning on the achievement late is kind of shit... people, not knowing it exists, may lose the achievement before it is even turned on. Plus they can't check to see that their visits are being properly recorded.

I'd MUCH rather see it turned on -right now-, with the essence on the 25th (that should keep people going until then) and then the 31st prize added. Sure, there's a risk that people just don't want the essence and then turn around and do want the prize when it's added, but we're already running that risk now + the risk that they don't know either exist.

I'd much rather achievements be live when an event starts (Especially this one that requires you to do something every day of the month) and keep the prize secret if you need to until the end. Or having prizes to go before an event is live would also be ideal but I can see that being problematic to achieve with no creative director to manage time/workload anymore.
