I'd like to know this too! I thought I read a while back that it marginally increased the chances of getting rarer bobbles, but that you could get them from smaller purchases too. Not sure if that's true or not though.

Well, I spent 1000 csc and just got the usual ones. My daughter spent 50 and got a rare one. I think it must be just random
