My pets Immortal and Shiver have been in the que for quite some time (like 2months or so) and they just got kicked out, like within the last few days..

I've had pets in the spotlight queue for 10 or 11 months before they got booted - I think it's just random which pets get reviewed first (so a pet might be in there for several weeks before it gets reviewed and either gets booted, or added to the winners queue).
