Every December, people complain about how people sign up for Mysterious Melody and then do not send any items. People make threads suggesting the system be changed. And every year, Subeta redoes the Mysterious Melody feature the same way.

Perhaps if we had some more tiers for the achievements related to Mysterious Melody, people would have more incentive to sign up AND send gifts?

I'd like to at least be able to see my partner's WL, or something to give an idea of what they'd prefer as gifts! IRL secret Santas, you jot down 3 or 4 suggestions and you can go from there. I feel like an idiot if im sending tokens or cute small stuff and they are sending wears and Subeautique invites..

And thirding the more achievements thing!

GREAT idea, Jess. This seems like a really good way to encourage people to actually participate. Maybe an achievement to 'sign up and send 5 gifts x times!' and x number of days in a row as well, maybe.

I like the idea of more achievements and especially encouraging MM participation, but if this is implemented I foresee a backlash of people whining and throwing fits because their MM spammed them with junk just for the achievement.

Wont we be back to square one when achievements are gained and users stop doing MM. Please no .

This is an excellent idea. I don't bother to participate in MM, because there's really no incentive to do so when it's run so haphazardly.

Maybe another idea would also be that, just to participate, you have to put in one item right from the get-go? So everyone who participates would be guaranteed at least one item in return.
