Do raises increase in amount each time you get one? If so, how much does it increase?

I just tried for a promotion, and got a 100sP raise from the SAI. This is the first time I tried that.

Other jobs my pets have had, promotions are always 50sP per level.

I know it's 100 for the first promotion, but will it be 150 for the second and 200 for the third (or something similar)?

What were the requirements to get a job there in the first place? I thought I read somewhere that it was based on intelligence, but how high does it need to be? I assume it is still random to some degree, even if you meet the requirements. My main pet is at around 450 now.
