I just used it for the achievement and wondering how long does it take for it to wear off?

the 250k one lasted a while for me but the 500k one was gone within the hour

Any estimate of how long "a while" is?

it lasted for a few hours at least, but then I went to bed so I never saw it worn off until I refreshed the page this morning

I've seen a few people say 3-ish hours. :P It might be random.

I just checked my feed, I got the achievement 3 hours ago and I just noticed that my effect is gone. So maybe a little less, but 3 hours seems to be the popular answer.

Hope it's ok that I ask here-- does anyone know if your zombie infection continues to progress even when you take either "cure"?

- neither "cure" affects your zombieness in any way. Doesn't cure, doesn't stop the progression. It just adds an effect to your HA.

The 500k one for me lasted just a few hours.
