A:TLA RP - which way do you bend?

Looking for an RP partner for either “Avatar: The Last Airbender†or “Legend of Korra†stuff.
No real plot known yet; could be as simple as nomadic warriors that are trying to settle down into the refugee life as musicians, but if you're interested (or just a fan of the shows), why don’t you let me know what you’d be as sample of your writing style:
Waterbender? Airbender? Fire? Earth?
Perhaps a more stylized bender…
Metal? Blood? Cabbage?
Or maybe not a bender at all! Maybe you’re just trying to get by on your wits, charm, good looks, and boomerang.
For example: A:TLA Yam wouldn't say she was the best or the brightest of all waterbenders. Although she had gotten to learn in her early years from her mother, being forced to hide her abilities as she travel all over the four nations with her father certainly made things difficult. The traveling gave her a better range of understanding and gave her plenty of experience learning from other benders, but any friendships she made was cut short as they moved on to the next place and always carried the risk of being betrayed to Fire Nation soldiers. It was an enriching, but lonely childhood. Yam swore that, should she every strike it out on her own, she would do what she could to be as friendly as she could to each passing stranger; but, with age, came wisdom, and such a childlike idealism died out the same day the soldiers finally found them. Her father, a non-bender, traded his freedom for her chance to escape and Yam was ashamed to admit she slunk off into the darkness that night, silent as a cave hopper, while her father told the soldiers all about the valuable knowledge he had obtained over the years about elemental bending cultures. Now, on her own, Yam does whatever she must to stay alive and quiet, waiting for the Avatar's return to put an end to the war.
LOK: As a young woman, Yam had died during the Day of the Black Sun. She had been part of a remote group from the Southern Water Tribe that led an attack on one of the Fire Nation Colonies, a mismatched group of benders and non-benders who took advantage of the sudden drain on the firebenders' abilities. However, when the eclipse ended, she found herself trapped in a sticky situation, which came to a bittersweet end. She closed her eyes tight, ready to feel the flames... and found herself, instead, waking up on a shoreline. Her head was foggy and she felt a strange coldness that she had never experienced before, but she was alive and that was all that mattered. Found by a young airbender, Yam's joy at surviving quickly turned to despair when she realized that no one other than the little girl could see her: she was a spirit and, even worse, she was a spirit lost. With the help of her new airbending friend, Yam waits to find the new Avatar with hopes that she will one day find her way to the Spirit World and obtain peace.
