So, it’s been a while since I have roleplayed on this site but I would like to get back into it. This roleplay is based off one I had been apart of before, it is not exactly the same but some elements are definitely alike. Literate roleplayers only please.

This roleplay will be based in current times and will take place in a large city similar to Phoenix, Arizona. Similar meaning that it is hot and dry and around a desert, basically. The old roleplay featured Vampires, Shapeshifters, Angels, Lycans, and Humans. But I would like to extend these boundaries to other supernatural beings. Just remember that god modding is not allowed so keep the power level reasonable. Hunters are also allowed and are encouraged. There will be a mention of what I will call the alliances, which are these:

Dark: What I will describe as those who feed from negative energy or cause harm. Examples are Vampires, Shapeshifters, Demons, et cetera.

Light: Obviously positive and seek to help or defend. Examples are Angels, Lycans (basically because they are enemies of vampires), et cetera.

Now I’ll get to the story.

Until a few years ago, humans lived in ignorance of the creatures that they were sharing their lives with. They ignored the signs of the deeper evil that lurked around the corner in their peaceful town, until a war that had been brewing since the beginning of time finally bubbled over into the streets. The old alliances, the dark and the light, fought against one another causing great bloodshed and death in the very heart of the city. The main place of this battle, a simple locally owned nightclub has been memorialized as a reminder of the beasts that live in the dark. These creatures have retreated back into hiding but now the human race is aware of their existence, and wish to eradicate every last one of them. The Dark and Light, who still carry bad blood between them, now also have to worry about the mundane human race. Hunters have appeared making it their life’s mission to kill the monsters. Whether you are monster or human, how will you survive?

THE RULES ARE

  • be literate and advanced= NO one-liners and simple paragraphs. Two or more paragraphs per post.
  • do not flood out the board FYI This is not a romantic roleplay. This is about war and fighting. Friendships are good. But nothing else. +Try to keep the genders and races as even as possible please. More than one character is allowed per person.

SKELETON full name: appearing age: (don't include this if human) actual age: alliance: appearance: brief personality: brief history: other:

full name: Chandra Maxson
appearing age:
actual age: 24
alliance: Witch (Light)
appearance: Chandra, standing at 5’4’’ has vivid red hair with amber eyes, which she inherited from her mother. She doesn’t wear anything out of the ordinary since she does not like to draw attention to herself. She is typically seen wearing a nice colored blouse, jeans, and flats. Chandra.NotMine.
brief personality: Chandra is easy going and gets along with mostly everyone, but since the outing of other supernatural things, she has become more to herself lately. She is afraid to let people in, in fear that they will burn her at the stake for her practices.
brief history: Chandra had a normal upbringing with seemingly normal parents until she discovered her long lineage of magic. Her ancestors migrated from Salem during the witch trials to hide and have been underground about who they are ever since. She had a hand in the war as a healer and came into contact with many supernatural beings from both the light and the dark sides, which has made her question the old rivalry.
other:

full name: Garrett Thomson
appearing age: 26
actual age: 215
alliance: Lycan (Light)
appearance: Garrett is a tall man at 6’3’’, with a rich chocolate shade of hair and hazel eyes. He is often covered in grease since he owns his own car garage and wears white tank top undershirts and a dark color of jeans as to hide as many stains as possible. Dark colored boots complete his look. Garrett
brief personality: Garrett has a good side and bad side, although it mostly seems like his bad side is more dominant. He has patience but once his patience is gone then you better run. He is unable to control his anger once he has been pushed past that point. He doesn’t know the meaning of gentle although he never seeks to hurt anyone on purpose.
brief history: Coming from a poor family, Garrett moved in hopes of making it on his own and becoming financially stable with his own business. Business has been lacking lately since there are rumors that he is a part of the supernatural underground plaguing the city.
other:

full name: Aerrick
appearing age: 30
actual age: 326
alliance: Vampire (Dark)
appearance: Aerrick
brief personality: Aerrick is loyal once a friendship has been formed but he can be aggressive when it comes to protecting these relationships. He is relatively cool mannered but can be sadistic from time to time.
brief history: Aerrick has traveled many places, first being turned into a creature of the night in a small village in Greece by one of his closest friends. His mother had died from childbirth and his father nearly worked himself into the ground trying to support five children. Escaping and traveling the world, Aerrick has ended up in this town in search of his friend who he had word had perished in the war. He seeks vengeance for the apparent death of his closest friend and maker, Bones.
other:

Edit:

Full name: Christian Alexander Smith
Nickname: Bones
Appearing age: 22
Age:609
Alliance: Vampires
Appearance: Christian is tall and skinny, which gives him the illusion that he isn’t strong although his muscles are prominent under his skin. His hair is a light blonde almost white, his eyes a rich blue, and his skin pale. He most often wears a plain t-shirt, jeans, and boots that are the most comfortable. His signature piece of clothing was his black trench coat that had miraculously lost all of its buttons through the years. Bones
Brief personality: Bones used to be a cold man who was afraid to get too attached to anyone. When he was first turned into a vampire, he had killed woman whom he had fallen in love with. From that moment on he had vowed not to let his emotions control himself. Instead he learned to feed off of and thrive through the emotions of others.
Brief history: Christian was born to a poor family who could barely afford scraps for food let alone clothes to put on their backs. He had younger brothers who were claimed by illness. Tired of living like a rat in the street, Christian began participating in street brawls for money. At first he was taken advantage of but eventually he learned to hold his own in a fight, which gained him a fortune in bets made against him. Although he was becoming stronger, from the lack of proper nutrition as a child, he gave the appearance of being rather skeletal. He was often referred to as being nothing but a bag of bones, which gave him the nickname of Bones. It was through these fights that Bones met his maker, a vampire going by the simple name of Richard who claimed to be one of the first. Bones never knew if this was to be true and would never find out, as Richard was not to keen on sharing his life history. Richard offered Bones the power he needed to never lose another fight again, a way to feed himself. This power came through the mark of the vampire. As the death toll began to rise in his hometown, rumors of vampires spread. This drove Bones and his maker out and forced them to travel from village to village, living under the radar as to avoid being hunted.
Other: Bones can be sustained by feeding from raw emotions almost as effectively as blood.

Name: Lilith Morgana Alliance: none Age: looks 25 actual age unknown Sex: Female Species: Hybrid (vampire/werewolf) Appearance: Human HybridForm Wolf Lilith has long flowing purple hair that reaches her knees, weighs roughly 150lbs most of it is muscle though she is in no way skinny. She has a stocky build and stands roughly 5'8 with violet eyes. She always wears a trench coat and a Harley Davidson cowboy hat to cover herself. The coat covers the many tattoos and scars that coat her body and the hat conceals her face that has a good amount of piercings and scars. Her tongue is also pierced. She wears a black leather top and pants with black combat boots. Weapons: Father's Sword Mother's Dagger S.O: straight (most of the time) Personality: Lilith is very quiet and strong willed. She is a loner and at times seems very cold hearted though she is loyal to those that get close to her. Most of the time she is quite detached from the world around her. In a way you could confuse her for shy because she is quiet but in all actuality she is always watching her surroundings. Abilities: Shift into a wolf or her hybrid form. On occasion her vampire side comes out. Bio: She was born when the world was still young. Her birth was nothing far from a miracle especially since her parents should have never had a child. Her mother was a Vampire ( Mother-click ) and her father was a werewolf ( Father-click ). Both bloodlines have been at war since the dawn of time.

Her mother was a noble in the vampire ranks and she was also one of their fiercest warriors. Her and her troops were ambushed by a small pack of werewolves and she got injured. She was the only one to survive the attack. She managed to slip away and found herself at a waterfall. Using her heightened senses she checked her surroundings to make sure she was alone. Slowly she removed her armor and clothing and slowly slipped into the waters to wash away the blood and to get a good look at her wounds. Her father was the strongest warrior in his pack. He could hear the sounds of battle a ways off from where he was. He was sent on a different task otherwise he would have been in the battle with his comrades. As he made his way through the dense forest he could hear the waterfall. It had been a while since he had visited his secret place. Many knew there was a waterfall but he was the only one that knew how to get to it. Just as he was about to step into the clearing he spotted a woman washing in the water. At first he was mesmerized by her beauty until he realized she smelled of vampire. Growling he stepped into the clearing clenching his fists at his sides. The two of them ended up fighting in the longest battle either of them have ever been in. It was bloody and fierce with both getting some deep injuries. When all was said and done the fight ended up in a stalemate. Panting and barely able to stand both sat on the ground looking at each other. They ended up talking and the rest is history.

Her mother and father built a small home in the clearing near the waterfall. They lived in happiness for years just the two of them until by chance her mother became pregnant. Not long after a baby girl was born and their family grew by one. They lived together happily for ten years until two large groups found their way to the clearing. A temporary truce was formed between the vampires and werewolves because they were only interested in the traitors and their forbidden child. Her father gave her his sword and her mother gave her her dagger before they sent her into the escape tunnel they made for just in case.

Lilith held onto what her parent's had left her as she ran. She could hear her parents fighting for their lives behind her. She wanted to turn around and help them but she was doing what she was told. Tears streamed down her face as she ran faster and faster. She didn't stop running until she was far away from the sounds of fighting. She stayed hidden for a few days before she ventured back to her home. The clearing was covered in blood and there were bodies everywhere. She searched through the bodies until she came across her mother and father's bodies right next to each other. As she looked down at her parents the tears began to flow and didn't stop flowing until she had buried her parents. The moment the last amount of dirt was put on her parents resting place the tears suddenly stopped. What was left standing there was no longer the innocent little girl.

After her parents were killed she wandered alone for years until she met someone that took her under their wing. They taught her how to fight in many different styles and with many different weapons. Once she learned all that she could she left and went back to her wandering. She continued to wander for centuries fighting werewolves and vampires alike. Her life consisted of nothing but running and fighting for centuries because of what she was.

Name: Michael Black Nickname: Mike Alliance; Light Age: looks 26 actually 2348 Sex: Male Species: Werewolf Appearance:Human Wolf Weapons: Hand to hand combat. Teeth and claws when shifted. S.O: Straight Personality: He is like an onion.... he has layers (Yes I did put that. I watched Shrek today :D) Abilities: Shift into his wolf form at will Bio: Doing Mike and Gabe's together.

Name: Gabriel Black Nickname: Gabe Alliance; Light Age: looks 19 actually 969 Sex: Male Species: Werewolf Appearance: Human Wolf (not mine) Weapons: Two short swords and his teeth and claws when shifted. S.O: Straight (even though girls frighten him a bit) Personality: He is silent and distant. Not one for trusting others easily and he is very shy. Abilities: Shift into a wolf.

Bio: Michael and Gabe grew up together in the mountains of Transylvania. Their pack was one of the oldest ones around and also one of the strongest. It was their pack that has kept watch over the castle where Vlad III, Prince of Wallachia slept. Vlad also had other names that he had been given or called but the most popular one would be Count Dracula. It was their duty to make sure nobody ventured into the castle and accidentally or intentionally revived the Count.

Even though Michael and Gabe were only cousins they acted more like brothers. They did almost everything together and Gabe would always mimic what his elder cousin did because he wanted to be strong like him. Michael was the most respected member of the pack only second to the Alpha. One night Michael was doing his guard detail when Gabe came to join him. The two sat in silence until a rustling in the bushes caught their attention. Both heads turned in the direction of the sound and Michael stood up going to check on it. As soon as he went to look in the bushes he was knocked backwards and out stepped a vampire. Michael told Gabe to go back to the rest of the pack and get help because he was only 50 at that time (still a pup). Michael knew that no vampire would even attempt to get anywhere near this pace alone.

Sure enough more vampires made their way out if the shadows. Michael growled and shifted into his wolf form as he continued to tell Gabe to go. Gabe refused to leave his cousin no matter what. Even though he was young he wanted to help. Before Michael knew what was happening six vampires lunged at him. He managed to kill two but the other four were not so easily killed and they were definitely old. The four vampires managed to pin Michael down. They were going to use Michael as the sacrifice to bring back the Count but Gabe had other plans. He shifted and lunged towards the vampires that had Michael pinned but got knocked away by another vampire. A yelp escaped his muzzle but he forced himself back to his paws.

Before Gabe knew what was happening two vampires had him pinned to the ground while a third stuck his blade in the fire that Gabe and Michael had going. The vampire held the blade in the fire until it started glowing red. Once the blade was as hot as the vampire wanted it he pulled it out of the fire and turned to look at Gabe. Moving ever so slowly the vampire brought the blade to where Gabe was pinned. Before Gabe knew what was happening he felt an excruciating pain on the left side of his face and it slowly went down the left side of his body. The smell of burning flesh and hair could make anyone want to loose their cookies but the vamps were enjoying it. Suddenly Gabe shifted to his human form, because he couldn't hold his wolf form, and screamed in pain.

At the sound of Gabe's scream of agony Michael lost all touch with reality. A strength built up in him that he had use the alphas you when they are protecting the pack from intruders. Before Michael knew what was happening something knocked the vampires out of the way. Before they had a chance to fight back the vampires were being chased down by other members of the pack. It didn't take long for wounds to be taken care of. Once Gabe was healed he decided he wanted to leave the pack and Michael was asked to keep an eye on him. Over the years Michael has kept his eyes on his cousin and protecting him from everything.

OOC: I will eventually bring in Lucien and the other dark characters. I don't have profiles for them, usually I just bring them in and go with them.

Lucinda Frey Name: Lucinda Frey (Previously Ashley Scott)

Nickname: Lucie, Princess

Age: Actual Age: 820 Looks: 25

Sex: Female

Species: Human / Einherjar

Alliance: Neutral Good (Light)

Appearance: Lucie

Lucie stands at 6’1. She has lean muscle with an athletic build. Scars from previous battles litter her body. Most of her scars are not really worth pointing out for most have faded into light lines.

As a warrior, she is expected to be in peak physical condition, which she maintains with her training sessions.

More often than not Lucie wears her battle armor, for she prefers the cool steal of armor, leather leggings and leather boots. She also wears grieves and silver arm bands when in her battle attire. Lucie is almost always seen in armor and caring her sword which is her prized possession. When she is not in her battle armor, she usually wears a series of cheap t-shirts that vary from sleeved to sleeveless and any type of jean; mostly to blend in with the times.

Lucie rarely wears her hair down, preferring it held back in a ponytail so it stays out of her way when she's in battle. However, there are certain occasions when she quite literally lets her hair down.

Weapons: Long sword and shield.

S.O.: Heterosexual

Personality: She has never succumbed to the rules of being a woman. She has always preferred to speak her mind and play roughly with the boys. Even as a girl, she rejected the dresses that her mother sewed her for itchy trousers and boots that clumped far too loudly to ever be considered ladylike.

Lucie wanted to prove herself, to fight with the honor and pride like the warriors before her. They said that it wasn't possible, but with her headstrong personality and stubbornness, Lucie was never been one to follow all the rules. She often tries to prove herself to her doubters. Sometimes she cannot see that she is everything that she wants to be, and her need to prove it is unnecessary.

She is tenacious yet playful, always up for a good laugh.

She is a brave woman, and always will be. Her anger is unmatched even in Valhalla. Her temper flares up easily, and there is no stopping her. When she is angry, she usually wants to fight or break things. She often holds a grudge and for a long time. Most won’t stand up to her. Not even her siblings.

She is very honorable in battle.

Bio: Princess Lucie Frey was the second born into a noble house hold; her mother the third child to the king and her father a nobleman.

As a young child Lucie was bold and adventurous; more often than not the she was always in trouble with their mother. Her mother scolded her for every grass stain and every rip in her fine dresses.

Her mother tried to put her through finishing school; to teach her how to be a lady. However, with age, Lucie’s rebellious nature only increased.

Over the years Lucie proved herself as a warrior. Lucie’s weapon of choice became the sword. After a few years Lucie become a master in her chosen profession. Lucie went on to break the gender rules of her time and was accepted into the military as one of the first females of her time. She fought valiantly for years, protecting their home and growing stronger with each passing day. However, when a great foe threatened their home, Lucie was called to war.

In the ninth year of war, Lucie fell in battle protecting the King Arthur and her sister.

Before she died an angel appeared before her and escorted her to the fabled land Valhalla. She learned that the angel was actually a Valkyrie name Claire. Lucie accepted her new role in the land of Valhalla because it was for the greater good.

Lucie spent hundreds of years in Valhalla; training among the other chosen warriors waiting for the day when she would be needed again.

That day came three years ago when she was sent down to Earth. Now Lucie scours the earth looking for anyone who wishes to bring harm to humans.

They are very visible, two shades darker than her actual skin color. She can be self-conscious of them at times, but for the most part Nadia accepts them as a part of her.

Weapons: Magical Bow / Herself

S.O.: Heterosexual

Nadia can be merciful, and kind. More often than not she comes off as cold when you first meet her. However she is willing to listen and help with what she can. She will try to lighten the mood with laughter no matter what the situation.

She is much like her sister and will tell you something straight forward. She will not lie unless she feels it’s the only choice.

Unlike her siblings Nadia is not a leader.

Bio: Princess Nadia Frey was the last born into a noble house hold; her mother the third child to the king and her father a nobleman.

As young a child Nadia took a different path than her sister and brother. Much like them she was bold and adventurous; however when Nadia was born she was born magically inclined; both parents proud to have a magical heir put her in training as soon as possible. While in the finest magic school of her time, Nadia learned in the ways of a healer. However, Nadia also trained in archery.

When she graduated she became a full time medic for the military. For years she worked valiantly protecting their home and growing stronger with each passing day.

When times of peace arose, Nadia would spend her time reading and studying other magic’s. However, when a great foe threated their home, Nadia was called to battle.

After six years in war Nadia watched as Lucie fell in battle protecting the king and herself. Grief stricken Lucie vowed she would kill the man who ordered these men to attack their home. After that she started focusing on learning and using other magic’s.

However, when Nadia’s mother died not long after Lucie, Nadia realized life was short. She realized she would never see her goal accomplished. She then went looking for a way to extend her life span. Nadia found many different ways to extend her own life.

One night while Nadia was in her home she heard screaming. Nadia went to aid the troubled. When she came to the screams her eyes fell onto a beast that had two women cornered. She used a spell that ensnared the beast. She then put herself in-between the two women and the beast. She told the two women to run.

The creature looked at her with what seemed like a smirk on its face. Before Nadia knew what had happen the creature broke the snare and came charging at her. The creature then sank its teeth into her right shoulder making her cry out in pain. As she felt the teeth tear into the skin, she quickly grabbed the creatures’ neck, who tried to pull away. She held firmly onto its neck and then using her free hand she thrust it up into its neck breaking it.

The creature fell limp on top of her dead. Nadia didn't make an attempt to move as she felt a burning in her shoulder-blade, which spread throughout her body.

Nadia spent the next few days realizing what she had become. She was now a werewolf; a creature of the night.

Something her family had hunted for generations.

Nadia wasn't supposed to know. She speculated that Lucie and her mother never knew. But she did. She heard her father and brother’s late night conversations. They hunted the creatures of the night.

Nadia spent the next month training herself and preparing for the full moon. The night she would have to take control of herself or be lost.

Eventually after controlling her beastly form, Nadia left her home. For centuries, Nadia wandered the world, searching for something. What she doesn’t know.

That night young Alex learned that he came from a long line of natural born werewolves. They hunted and killed vampires. His mother and sisters had no notion of this and they were never to know.

This was the last day he spent as a normal child. After that his father, uncle and grandfather taught him the ways of hunters.

At the age of twelve he met his other half. By twelve and a half he mastered his other half. By the age of fourteen he mastered swordsmanship. By the age of sixteen he had killed his first vampire. By the time Alex turned eighteen he had become a fully realized hunter.

He spent most of his time hunting and killing, often traveling long distances. After a while he stopped coming home after hunts, often staying with other hunters or friends. One day when he returned to his home village he learned his younger sister, Lucie had been killed in the war. He was devastated. Much like his younger sister Nadia, he sought revenge for her death.

That night he didn’t return to his family like he should have. Instead he left, searching for his sister’s killer. A man who had started a war for power.

He did however keep tabs on his family. He knew of his mother’s death and his fathers. He knew of his youngest sisters accomplishments. However, he never knew why/how she disappeared.

A crowd gathered around an old nightclub, it’s windows blacked out and the doors shackled shut. Statues of bronze littered the sidewalk, resembling the humans that had died here for the sake of the supernatural clash. A podium at been erected, and the new mayor of the city who had proclaimed that he would clean up this fiendish town was standing with a group of political officials for this new annual tradition. News reporters piled out of vans as the sun slowly started to slide behind the buildings on the horizon. The crowd grew with each second that passed, the energy rising positively and negatively. Finally, taking the stand, the mayor tapped on the microphone perched in front of his face before nervously shuffling note cards that had been left for his speech hidden from the view of the crowd. He coughed to get their attention and calm the chatter that had started as more people filled the street.

“Three years ago to this day, a nightmare ended that ravaged this city and scarred all who live in it. We have gathered today to remind ourselves that this evil is still lurking in our streets! These monsters could be your mailman, your school principal, or even your neighbor.”

A low murmur flowed through the crowd as they made comments on this thought, although this murmur was lost on several deaf ears as the monsters they hated the most were mingled into the crowd.

Chandra, who had managed to get off work today from a small diner a few blocks away, stood near the podium but was still buffered from the political entourage by a few lines of people packed in front of her. She always hated this day and thought it was barbaric. She was surprised that even the humans had been reduced to this. She began to hum a song that she sang every year, as the mayor still spoke on about the threat that must be ended so that the city to could rest with peace of mind. Her humming turned to singing as the mayor stopped talking, the podium quickly being moved out of the way as an officer of the law brought a key from his pocket to remove the shackles from the door of the nightclub. Several people in the front rows moved back as the doors swung open, rustling coming from inside of the building.

“Oh, Death, оh Death, oh Death, Won't you spare me over another year. But what is this that I cant see with ice cold hands taking hold of me”

A young girl shakily stepped out of the nightclub that had been refurbished as an elaborate cage. Her hand rose to shield her eyes from the sun. She had been locked in the building for several weeks awaiting the supposed trial of the public. She was weak and could not stand on her own. Officers grabbed her by the shoulders and dragged her forward to where the podium once stood.

”When God is gone and the Devil takes hold who will have mercy on your soul Oh, Death, оh Death, oh Death. No wealth, no ruin, no silver, no gold nothing satisfies me but your soul”

Garrett had closed his doors to his garage early today but he arrived late to the event, staying on the edge of the crowd. Seeing this every year saddened him beyond what words could describe. He fought the rage that was boiling up inside him, threatening to replace his smooth tan skin with grey fur. A deep growl formed in his throat but he quickly covered it with a cough as to not draw attention to himself. He was already suspected to be what the public feared, even though they could find no proof. He had hunters biting at his heals so he had to be careful. He could hear the girl being lead to her death whimpering as her knees dragged and scraped on the brick of the sidewalk.

She was forced down onto her knees, her arms hung loose at her sides and she could not bring herself to look up at the people she had known most of her life. She had been a nurse in one of the doctor’s offices in town and had helped most of the people that now condemned her to death. She was a Dhampir and had been hiding safely until a few months ago when she was caught feeding on a patient.

”Oh, Death, Well I am Death, none can excel, I'll open the door to heaven or hell.”

The hunter that had caught her, which was a man who appeared to be in his forties, rugged features and unkempt blonde hair, stepped forward the forced the girl to look up into the crowd. There were several gasps that followed as well as cheers. They wanted to see this girl die even though she had only ever killed anyone to defend herself. The hunter stepped back, removing a tachi sword from a sheath on his back. Raising the sword, the man took a deep breath as he started to let it fall with his strength behind it. The girl looked out into the crowd, her eyes meeting with Garrett’s as he started to loose control. The blade fell fast, easily slicing through her neck, her head rolling onto the sidewalk and her body slumping lifelessly.

”Oh, Death, оh Death, my name is Death and the end is here”

The gathered crowd cheered but the cheering soon turned into screams, as the body of a police officer turned hunter fell from the sky and landed in front of the girl that had just been executed.

Aerrick, standing in the shadow of an empty apartment, smiled as blood dripped down his chin. His white shirt was stained with the blood of the man that he had just murdered. He had been using the empty apartment for weeks, waiting for this day to show the humans that he wasn’t going to let them wipe out his kind so easily. He could hear shouts from the street below as they tried to determine where the man had fallen from. Medical personnel were examining his wounds and started panicking.

“Vampire!”

It had been years since Lilith had been back to this city. Ever since Bones was killed she had left. He had saved her life the night he lost his and she hated herself even more. The one man that had ever shown her any kindness was taken from her. She was barely alive when he took the fatal blow that was ment for her. The moment his body fell something snapped inside her and she was in her hybrid form. She completely blacked out after that not remembering anything that had happened. All she knew was when she came to she was covered in blood and had Bone's trench gripped in her hand.

With a sigh she shook her head as she pulled the trench tighter around her. "Christian why did you do that?" she asked the wind as a sigh left her lips. As she walked down the deserted streets the sun began to set. She was so lost in her thoughts she didn't realize she was walking in the direction of the club where she had first met him.

After a fight with Angelus she shook her head before turning to walk away. Due to her injuries she lost her footing and fell against Bones. She struggled to push herself off him but her body was done listening to her for a moment. She felt his arms wrap around her lowering her to the ground. Mumbling to himself, he slipped out of his trench coat and placed it on her shoulders and he tried to cover her as best as he could. "There. This is awkward. And of course she put up a fight. I would have." He looked up at Angelus and Trinity before rolling his eyes and looking back down at her. "Come on. Can't risk another human finding out that we exist." With that he slid his arms under her and lifted her with ease and starting walking back towards the night club.

It wasn't until she was standing in front of it that she became aware of where she ended up. She looked around and noticed the crowd of people standing there and became completely confused.

She had no idea what was going on as she scanned the crowd. Most were humans but she picked out a few other creatures as well. She heard someone clear their throat and her attention snapped in the direction of the front of the club where a man stood surrounded by police.

The moment he started speaking that she felt her blood run cold. Unconsciously she gripped the hilt of her sword that was hidden under the trench. As the doors opened and the woman was brought out she couldn't believe what she was seeing. What humans didn't understand was that they came from the creatures they considered monsters. The originals were gods and created the humans as food and slaves in the beginning. Then some of them fought back and learned how to kill their makers.

The moment the woman's head left its body her eyes widened. Just as she was about to pull her sword out she watched the man vanish and then his body fall. The screams that resounded around her made her ears hurt. Her eyes scanned the area ready to fight if needed. It wasn't until a haunting voice began to sing that the crowd became silent and looked towards the alley between the club and the building next to it.

Two figures were perched on the roof of the old nightclub watching the scene below. Red eyes and blue eyes scanned the crowd picking out the humans and creatures. "It appears humans are becoming troublesome once again." the female spoke.

"It does seem that way mistress. If they are not careful they will be wiped from this world."

They both silenced as the Mayor began to speak the female crouched on the edge of the roof to get a better view of what was going on. She shook her head and sighed. "They are more of a monster they claim us to be."

Once the doors opened and the woman was brought out both of their bodies tensed. She was half human and they were going to murder her. Valdis may not be a warm and cheery person but even she knew this was going to far. The treatment the woman got was beyond was was needed. Even her parents prisoners were given food and such before they were executed. Not to mention the executions were not public unless it was a traitor that was being killed.

Vasuki watched the woman's head fall from her body and he shook his head. His tail twitched angrily behind him and he gripped the side of the building. Unlike the creatures that were standing in the crowd he and his mistress could not blend in with the human race, her with her dark skin and pure silver hair, him and his snake like features especially his body. They always had to stay in the shadows.

Once the blood of the woman was spilled they watched one of the men die that had a hand in her death. Valdis knew exactly where the vampire went mainly because she was skilled because she is a ranger and princess of her race. Her skills were unmatched by any of her age.

Just as she was about to go to the vampire she heard singing and her body tensed. She also felt Vasuki tense beside her and both whispered at the same time a name they wished to never speak again. "Amara...."

The moment she began singing the crowd went silent and her haunting voice was being carried along the wind from the darkness. Towards the unsuspecting crowd that had gathered.

"Don't ever laugh as a hearse goes by, For you may be the next to die.

They wrap you up in a big white sheet, From your head down to your feet. They put you in a big black box And cover you up with dirt and rocks, And all goes well for about a week, And then your coffin begins to leak."

Slowly the figure continued to walk out of the darkness. Though the only part that could be seen was tiny feet of a child covered in black shoes.

"And the worms crawl in, the worms crawl out. The worms play pinochle on your snout. They eat your eyes, they eat your nose. They eat the jelly between your toes.

A big green worm with rolling eyes Crawls in your stomach and out your eyes. Your stomach turns a slimy green, And pus pours out like whipping cream. You spread it on a slice of bread, and that's what you eat when you are dead."

The haunting song continued along the wind as the figure continued to walk towards the crowd. She had heard from other creatures about the disgusting memorial that had begun here. She was not one for caring about others since her maker was killed. At the same time she detested humans, and enjoyed making them bleed, and their screams are music to her ears.

" And the worms crawl out, the worms crawl in. The worms that crawl in are lean and thin, The ones that crawl out are fat and stout. Your eyes fall in and your hair falls out. Your brain comes tumbling down your snout.

And the worms crawl in, the worms crawl out, They crawl all over your dirty snout. Your chest caves in, your eyes pop out, And your brain turns to sauerkraut."

The further she stepped out of the shadows she could see the crowd watching the alley that she was walking out of. The wind gently blowing the bottom of her dress as she continued her walk. Stepping completely out of the shadows the little girl kept her eyes on the ground and her hands clasped behind her back. To the unsuspecting crowd she looked like a mere child that has lost her mother and was singing to herself as to not be scared of the dark.

"They invite their friends and their friends too, They all come down to chew on you.

The crowd stood there silent as the little girl walked towards the front of the club and the body of the creature that was slain. You could hear the whispering from everyone as they became more tense trying to figure out what was going on. Over the years she had learned that she could hypnotize humans in a way from her singing. They would be dazed and out of sorts, like a trance.

And this is what it is to die, I hope you had a nice goodbye. Did you ever think as a hearse goes by, That you may be the next to die? And your eyes fall out, and your teeth decay, And that is the end of a perfect day."

As her song was coming to an end she had made it to the head of the woman that was killed and bent to pick up her head. Looking down at the head in her hands she tilted her head to the side. Finally as the last word left her mouth she lifted her head looking at the crowd with blood red eyes. Slowly a smirk reached her lips as she threw the head into the crowd of people. The silence was quickly filled with screams as people started to panic trying to get away from the head.

Soon the sound of a gunshot rang out and the little girls body hit the ground as red started to pool around her. The cop that had shot her walked over thinking he had succeed in killing her. Slowly he kicked her with his foot then turned from the body to look at the others. Before anyone knew what was happening his body fell to the ground missing its head.

More screams could be heard and everyone was trying to find where the little girl went. It didn't take long for laughter to be heard. Looking in the direction of the laughter they saw the little girl holding the head by its hair. The moment Amara realized they were looking at her she stopped laughing. "He ruined my favorite dress. He deserved what he got."

The sun was low enough in the sky for the vampires to walk safely within the city, which had gone unnoticed by the human civilians. The police were ushering the mayor away from the gruesome scene into a black car to get him as far away as possible. Several people scattered in every direction running out of fear, screaming. Other’s stood starring at the little girl now in front of them, all of their hearts threatening to seize from the terror that they felt. There were the few that stood in the crowd that were beginning to stand out more and more as the crowd cleared.

Chandra had backed away from the girl in terror. She hadn’t agree with what the humans had done to the woman but she also didn’t agree with the humans being slain either. Heat prickled at her palms as she prepared herself for conflict, although she hoped that it didn’t end that way. As she opened herself more to her own power, although small compared to that of the true supernatural beings, she begin to sense the presence of them all around her.

Garrett had hidden himself in the shadow from the people who were trying to escape the block. The few that did see him didn’t stop to question it but only ran faster. His skin had been replaced by fur the color of ash, although his eyes stayed the soft hazel that they are in his human form. His body shook from the adrenaline that was rushing through him and he could smell the blood that was pouring from the sidewalk, which was beginning to make him feel sick to his stomach. Once most bystanders had cleared from the block, he stepped out from the shadow of the building, his wolf form standing a few inches taller than that of his human form.

He towered over the people who were stupid enough to still be standing in the street. He focused his gaze on the small child in front of him, his body crouching down in a defensive stance waiting. It had been a long time since he had allowed his wolf to take him over completely out of fear of being seen and executed. Although his death would have been swift instead of drawn out instead of an audience since he would have fought for the right to live.

Chandra could feel movement behind her but she was afraid to look away from the girl in front of her. She had never seen a vampire as young as this one and she felt a certain level of terror at the child’s lack of empathy for the man’s life. Of course she had been unsettled with the child once she heard her singing.

“Your dress is not worth a man’s life, child.” Chandra bravely stammered.

Garrett huffed from behind Chandra in a strange form of agreement. Chandra peaked behind her momentarily to see who was in agreement before quickly looking back, hoping to not lose sight of the child.

Aerrick’s smile widened as panic in the streets increased. Almost as if on cue, he watched another vampire in the street massacre another filthy human. He stood in the shadow for several moments surveying the scene below. As the crowd had started to clear he could clearly make out those who were not human. Pushing away from the wall that supported him, he decided to take the long way down instead of revealing himself completely by simply jumping out of the window. He had only come to this God forsaken town to find whatever remained of his maker.

”Aerrick…”

He could hear Bones’ voice in his head but he didn’t know if it was a cry for help or if he was finally going insane. He had always believed that if his maker passed on into the afterlife that he would feel it somehow. Sticking his hands into the pockets of his black leather pants, he walked through the seemingly empty apartment, a few bodies strewn on the floor leftover from his feedings. The door was left open and he easily glided into the hallway and towards the stair well of the building.

Within moments Aerrick was standing in the main door of the building. He stayed hidden within the door; he didn’t want to introduce himself into the current situation under these circumstances. All he wanted was to get into the nightclub without questions, although he was intrigued by the supernatural crowd that had begun to gather.

Lilith's body froze the moment the girl stepped out of the shadows. She had encountered this monster along with her maker over a thousand years ago. Everyone thought it was a hunter that had ended the life of Amara's maker but it was her. The two were leaving death and destruction everywhere they went and it needed to stop. Gripping the hilt of her sword tighter she waited until most of the people had fled. She watched as a werewolf came out of the shadows ready to fight. She also picked up the presence of a witch.

Amara looked around with a smirk on her face as the humans ran screaming. She enjoyed this very much and loved the sound Her head turned in the direction of the female voice that had spoke. A cruel smile weaved its way to her lips. "You may not think so but I do." Her words were light and airy as she let the man's head drop to the floor. Clasping her hands together she rocked back to her heels. "I have killed for less."

Lilith was surprised the woman had the courage to speak up and commended her for it but at the same time knew that Amara would kill the woman for it. Slowly Lilith stepped forward and stood next to the woman as she removed her sword from its sheath. She didn't even spare a glance in the direction of the werewolf. "The lady is right Amara. I though you would have learned after your makers miserable life was ended." She kept her head down but still kept her eyes on Amara.

Amara's head snapped in the direction of the new voice as she hissed. Her calm and cool look falling. She clenched her fists at her side as she recognized the wretch before her. "His life was worth more than yours forbidden one." Taking a step forwards she glared at Lilith with hate filled eyes and stomping her foot like the angry child she was.

Lilith lifted her head to look at Amara and raised an eyebrow. "My life may not be worth anything but neither is yours. It is time for you to meet your maker and leave this world." Swiftly she lunged at Amara aiming to remove the girls head in one blow.

Amara moved behind Lilith but not before suffering a gash on her arm from the sword. "I wonder how this group would feel to find out who you are." She said in a mocking tone as she skipped around Lilith. Before Lilith could react Amara pulled the hat off her head allowing her whole face and wolf ears to be seen. Amara laughed at the anger that had flashed through Lilith's eyes. "It seems I have struck a nerve with the oh so calm freak."

Lilith stood tall as she kept her eyes on Amara. "You act as though it bothers me what they think." That was a lie but nobody needed to know that. Her heart ached for Bones and the friends she had made those years ago. It would be fitting to meet her end here so she could join them. She never did get to find out how many still survived that fateful night. Lilith slid her blade back into its place then moved swiftly managing to grab Amara and throw her into the side of a building.

Slowly Amara stood up patting the dust of her dress as she stepped out of the rubble. She lifted her head and glared at Lilith before moving faster that the human eye could see to shove her hand into Lilith's stomach. With being this close Amara picked up the faint scent that still lingered on the trench. Pulling her hand back she then shoved Lilith into the side of the apartment building and watched as she crumpled to the ground after the impact. "Since when do you take souvenirs from your kills. I can smell vampire on that coat of yours."

Lilith didn't have time to react before she felt the burning pain in her stomach and then her back as she was thrown into the building. As she was crouched on the ground she caught the scent of a vampire not to far away. In truth she didn't care and wasn't really trying. The moment Amara accused her of killing Bones, no matter that the girl didn't know, she growled loudly as she pushed herself to her feet. Not even thinking she blurted out the words. "I didn't kill Christian it was your kind. Your kind that took him from me." Lilith lunged at Amara and pulled her sword out slicing her across the stomach before attempting to end her life. The only problem was Lilith allowed her anger to take over and became sloppy leaving herself open as Amara dodged.

Amara smiled wide realizing she had the perfect opportunity as she placed a hand on her stomach. "You act as though a vampire could care for something as disgusting as you. I bet he just felt sorry for you and decided to take pity on you." She continued to push Lilith's anger happy to have figured out how to make the oh so calm and perfect fighter loose her cool and become sloppy. It only took a moment and she saw her opening and lunged. She caught Lilith by the throat and threw her with so much force it sent her through the wall of the abandon nightclub.

Lilith pushed herself to her hands and knees as her body shook from a quiet sob that wracked her body. As another memory ran through her mind.

Lilith took very painful and shaky steps over to Bones and dropped to her knees next to him. He was bleeding slightly from his head hitting the pavement. She reached out placing her hand on his face and looked deeply into his eyes. "Why did you seem like you were giving up before? It almost seemed like you were going to let him kill you. Christian I am not worth your protection or kindness. You are unique so don't lower yourself to the others of your kind." She sighed and removed her hand and stood up once again. "Out of all the creatures I have encountered you are the one that deserves to live." She walked over and picked Bones' trench up off the ground and put it on. Without turning to look at Bones she spoke just loud enough for him to hear. "I am going to keep this to remember what it was like to feel warm. You may keep my trench if you would like and my sword as well. I will accept my punishment to save you from injury or feeding." Lilith slowly walked towards Kyo ready to give up. She wanted to keep this feeling that she felt in the pit of her stomach. She was afraid that if she didn't leave Bones now she would never want to leave him. Lilith feared that he would eventually tire of her and push her away so this was the best way for her to never loose the feelings that she was beginning to have for Bones.

"I was. You've seen me, Lilith. What else do I have to live for? This war? It's useless. And I never said I was any better than them." Bones pushed himself off of the pavement when Lilith stood and walked away. He growled when he saw what she was doing. "You can't just give up like this. Don't let the blood be for nothing."

Moving rather quickly, he ran towards her and grabbed her arm to stop her. "I never protect any one. Not like this." His face was emotionless as he glanced at Kyo. "Don't be a stupid mutt." He smiled and turned towards Kyo and stood in a defensive stance.

Another sob shook her body as she reached her hand up to grip her head. Never had anyone tried so hard to protect her. Ever since her parents died she was alone. "It's all my fault he is gone.... all my fault.... my fault...." she whispered to herself as she rocked back and forth. Slowly the pool of blood around her became bigger from the wounds she had gained. The once strong warrior was finally becoming broken as all the emotions took over her.

Amara stood in her spot as she glanced in the direction of the rubble and couldn't help the giggle that left her throat as she tilted her head to the side. "I guess the prophecy was true. Love would be the end of the forbidden one." she spoke to no one in particular. Turning her attention to the others she smiled. "Well my lovelies it's been fun but I must take my leave." With that she was gone into the shadows.

Valdis and Vasuki watched the scene below with interest. Not yet ready to get involved as of yet.

Chandra’s heart was jumping into her throat as the vampire child told her that she had killed for less. She certainly believed it. She prepared herself for the attack that she thought would come, fire beginning to run through her veins as her power coursed through her. The presence of another calmed her fear slightly although she could not see who was now standing next to her due to the hood on her head. When Chandra realized that these two had history, she took a few steps back but was still on guard behind the woman.

A man lay in a chained coffin in the basement of the nightclub, his mouth hung open slightly and his hair unkempt. His clothes were bloody and his shoes were covered in mud, which had stained the white clothe on the inside of the coffin. A small sound came from his throat even though he wasn’t aware of himself or his surroundings.

”What have they done to you.” A young girl around twenty years old said as she knelt next to a man that had been left in the muddy street, blood slowly dripping from his nose. “You promised me you would stop this, Christian.”

The man smiled, blood smearing on his teeth as he looked up at her, putting a hand on her cheek gently. “Lana.”

Christian groaned in the coffin, his body jerking slightly as if having a seizure. He had gone all this time without any food, and had eventually slipped into a deep sleep where his mind plagued him of memories he wished to forget.

”You’ve changed.” Lana said with a sorrowful tone as she stepped towards the window of the small cottage home. Her arms were crossed over stomach as tears streamed down her face. Christian stood in the middle of the room behind her, his skin paler than ever. “I thought I was doing the right thing. Who will hire me for a proper job, Lana? I am nothing but a rat to them.” He said angrily.

His foot kicked the coffin, splitting the wood and causing the chains to rattle. There were several splits where he had hit the wood when his body had begun to jerk.

Screams sounded through the night as the fight ended between Bones and Lana. She lay limp across his lap as he wept over her. Richard appeared in the room, making a sound of disapproval at the vampire he had created. “I told you things would not be the same.”

Aerrick had stepped away from the doorway of the building, pulling a cigarette from the pocket of his leather pants and lighting it with a small lighter. Taking a long puff, he let the smoke out through his nose as he walked towards the scuffle. He was intrigued by the new turn of events that he had just witnessed.

The unveiling of the hybrid caught his attention the most. He had heard rumors and stories of them but had never seen one with his own eyes. He took slow drags from the cigarette as he stopped a safe distance away from the scuffle. He kept up with the two as they took their anger out on each other, throwing each other into buildings and causing pain and destruction. The wind shifted slightly, bringing a familiar scent to Aerrick. His heart would have stopped if it was beating when he heard the hybrid yelling his maker’s name. He had no doubts that she was talking about a different Christian when he was close enough to see the coat she was wearing.

He waited until Amara disappeared before he made a move of his own. He dropped the cigarette to the ground, stepping on it as he walked towards the nightclub that the hybrid had flown through. He easily maneuvered his way through the rubble to find the hybrid crying in a puddle of her own blood.

“That’s a nice coat. Whose dead body did you take that off of.” He said sarcastically as he looked down at her, is tone cold and his posture rigid.

Christian’s eyes fluttered in his head as his body started to calm down and be still. He began to see flashing images of Lilith in his mind, calming him slightly as his muscles finally started to relax. “Lilith.” He muttered weakly.

Valdis and Vasuki waited a moment until they were sure Amara was gone before they made their way down to the ground. From being on the roof they could see the humans sneaking towards them in the shadows. No doubt some of them being hunters. Once they made it to the ground Valdis stepped out first. It was a shock enough to see someone like her but she didn't wan't them to totally freak out when they saw Vasuki.

Glancing between there werewolf and the witch she kept her hands out where they could be seen. "The humans are coming." She glanced around hoping that she didn't miss any that were trying to sneak up on the group. She didn't understand why she was even opening her mouth. But something just told her to.

Vasuki was becoming antsy with what his mistress was doing as his tail twitched behind him. Finally forgetting reason he made his way out to Valdis. "Mistress we must go."

Slowly Lilith lifted her head to look at the one that spoke. With narrowed eyes she pushed herself to her feet while she tried to wipe away the bloody tear tracks. "None of your business leech." She didn't know why she was getting so defensive.... ok that was a lie. She was trying to get someone to end it for her. She was miserable and alone.

In the silence Lilith head the sound of wood splitting and chains rattling. Her head turned in the direction the sound was coming from. It may have been years since she was here but she still remembered the layout.... the sound was coming from the basement.

Not even sparing the vampire a look she pushed herself to start towards the basement. If anything she would not allow another supernatural loose it's life for entertainment. With a groan Lilith placed her hand on the wound feeling it slowly stitching itself back together.

Her walk was slow as she limped towards the door. Slowly she pulled it open and just as she was about to step down she heard the most amazing thing. She heard her name and knew who spoke it. With new found energy she ran down the stairs, almost falling once or twice. She stopped in her tracks when she saw the coffin wrapped in chains. Slowly she walked towards it until the familiar scent made its way to her nose.

Once she reached the side of it her legs gave out. Using one chain to keep herself up she slid her free hand into one of the splits in the coffin. "Christian please tell me it's not a dream."

full name: Bachael appearing age: 26 actual age: Unknown alliance: Demon -- Dark appearance: Bachael brief personality: Bachael feels no remorse and feels that others should suffer as he has, although it was by his own hand. brief history: Bachael does not remember when he strayed so far from the good that was once inside of him. Living in a peaceful village, he hunted with the other men to try to support their families. His wife, Hadyn, had blessed him with three sons who were all healthy and strong. He had loved his family dearly but was slowly slipping into darkness after being tempted by a succubus in his sleep. He allowed greed and lust to overcome him until he was a man of malice. Letting the malice overcome him, he killed his family in the night while they slept one by one. He was comfortable with the death of those he had once loved and slept amongst the bodies until early morning the next day when others of his village discovered him laying in the blood of his family. Binding him to a stake, he was burned until he was thought to be dead. The villagers allowed the fire to burn through the wood until it was reduced to glowing embers. His body was thought to have been reduced to ash, although there were few that feared that against the will of the gods he had escaped the flames. These fears were put to rest until Bachael pulled himself from the embers, his charred skin flaking away to reveal smooth pale flesh. They were convinced that Bachael had absorbed the fire that was meant to kill him, since he stood before them with eyes glowing the same deep red as the embers. In spite of the people he once considered his friends he killed them as a form of revenge for the suffering he had endured in the flames. other:

A few blocks away in a small alleyway, before the unexpected ending to the annual execution, Bachael had been enjoying the death of a werewolf that he had caught as the werewolf was on his way to attend the gruesome celebration. He had pleaded for his life but Bachael only laughed in his face before slitting his throat. Bachael had feasted on the werewolf’s life as it seeped from his body. Slipping his sword into a leather sheath hanging from his belt, he knelt next to the body that now had a rigid and bony appearance as if it had been starved. He laid his clawed hand on the man’s face, pushing his dark blond hair out of his face.

“You were a magnificent creature brethren.”

He whispered to the corpse, he perked his head up at the sounds of screaming. Standing up, he crept along the side of the building and carefully glanced around the corner of the building. He had to pull himself back quickly as a crowd of people came running down the street. He watched them eagerly, wanting to know what had caused so much fear. He patiently watched the humans scatter and hide before stepping out from the alleyway.

As he slowly walked down the street in the direction that the herd had came from, a team of trained police officers were preparing and determining how to best handle the situation. They talked amongst themselves as they put on gear that they thought would protect them and picked up the weapons that were believed would kill their nightmares. By the time that Bachael had reached the scene, several groups of men had moved to surround the nightclub and were moving in closer.

Bachael chose to stay out of site as he approached the building, staying to the shadows of the buildings in the growing night. He could hear the guns being checked and the safeties being clicked off as more creatures appeared in the street. As he rounded the corner of a building he came face to face with one group of men, guns ready.

As soon as they laid their eyes on Bachael they began firing into his chest. Each bullet into his body brought small clouds of ash from his skin before either disappearing into him or falling into the ground. He winced as one bullet caught him between the eyes, causing him to fall onto his back in the street.

“Well that certainly is an interesting feeling.” He mused to himself.

Garrett growled as he sensed the drow approaching them from behind. He stood from his crouching position, towering over them, showing teeth as he snarled. He was always the one who stayed by what he was raised, that anyone who was not light was evil and that the humans must be protected from such things. Although he didn’t entirely believe that he should have to die for the humans to feel safer. “Let them come.” He said, the words coming from deep within his throat almost being distorted by the changes in his vocal chords.

Of course he had never seen a drow before let alone the thing that followed her into the street. He watched them carefully as his ears began to focus on the approaching footsteps. Taking a deep breath he tried to calm down. Even though he didn’t see the two in front of him as allies he felt that no more of their kind should have to die today.

“What do you suggest we do.”

Chandra had stayed quiet and watched in concern as Garrett struggled to control his animalistic impulse to protect himself from his enemies.

“We must decide quickly.” She spoke softly as the sounds of gunfire echoed off the tall buildings around them. “We’re running out of time.” As she spoke, a man fell out of the shadows into the street, bullet holes scattered on his body and black blood slowly dripping from the holes.

Aerrick scuffed at Lilith but could not finish his sentence before she got up weakly and started to limp through the nightclub. He had heard the chains rattling but after watching the place for several weeks he knew that there were many creatures being kept inside. How and where exactly he did not know.

Taking a deep breath and letting it out, he followed her into the basement of the club. Looking around the dim lighted room, he saw several cages that had been built into the walls, coffins littering the room all wrapped in chains, and other devices that looked to be metal boxes placed inside as well. He could tell that the basement had been modified to the point that it was now larger than it had been before. Although is focus was torn from the basement turned dungeon to the sound of Lilith speaking his makers name.

The familiar scent found his nose and he become enraged when Lilith slipped her hand inside the coffin.

“How dare you touch him.” He said as he rushed forward and pushed her onto the floor.

Grabbing the chains, he ripped them from the coffin and threw them over his shoulder. He pushed the top of the coffin open to reveal his maker.

“What have they done to you.” He said as he carefully slid his arms under Bones and lifted him up. Laying him on the floor, he put both hands on either side of his face and gently turned his head to see if there were any wounds. Quickly running his hands over him, he was relieved when he found nothing.

“He’s slipped into a dream state. He had enough energy to heal himself but that was it.” Aerrick said softly as if talking to himself but he knew Lilith was listening.

“I knew you were here you arrogant…” Aerrick stopped mid sentence and decided not to speak ill of him.

Bones was in a dark room, a single candle in the middle on a wooden table. Its light unable to make a dent in the shadows of the room. His eyes had trouble adjusting and he wasn’t able to see anything besides the table and the candle. He could hear shuffling in the room but couldn’t tell where it was coming from.

“Who’s there?”

He could hear muffled voices but couldn’t make out what was being said. Suddenly the candle was knocked off of the table and the flame died on the cold floor. He could see nothing in the darkness but could here the sounds of clothing rubbing together as someone moved towards him.

”You have killed everything you love.”

A voice said from the darkness. The skin stood up on his arms and neck as he backed away from the sound.

”How long will it take you to kill her too.”

Bones was confused as he stopped escaping the sound. A light appeared in the middle of the room and he was able to see her face, Lilith.

“You know nothing.” He said as the light became brighter and brighter until the entire room was engulfed in it, raising his arm he shielded his eyes before being knocked down by a strange force.

Carefully opening his eyes, he could see the ceiling of the basement but wasn’t sure where he was.

“What.” He said weakly, his throat raw.

Amara didn't go very far from the old night club. She ended upon the room of a building close by to continue watching the scene before her. As she watched the scene below she saw the filthy blood bags surrounding the area and she smirked. Oh how she was going to enjoy this. Though she wondered why the Drow was even giving the others information.

Shaking her head she slipped to the other side of the roof where she heard the gunshots and was shocked to see Bachael. The last time she saw him was when her maker was still alive. She tilted her head to the side and giggled after he got shot in the head and made the comment.

Silently Amara jumped to the ground behind the group of blood bags and smirked before reciting a little nursery rhyme she heard on a movie. Though she changed a word or two.

"One, Two Amara's coming for you." She broke the mans neck closest to her. "Three, Four better lock your door." She shoved her hand through the back of another right through his chest. "Five, Six grab your crucifix." She ripped the arms off another. "Seven, Eight better stay up late." She took one of their guns and shoved it through his chest. "Nine. Ten .... Amara is back again....."

Each time a verse left her mouth she alerted the group how close she was and turned. At first they were shocked but then started shooting at her. She dodged most of the bullets but she felt a few hit her. After the last verse she picked up speed ripping out the throats of a few more as she got shot more.

Amara could feel the bullets starting to have an effect on her because of the blood loss she was experiencing. Grabbing a man she bolted and took to the roofs once again. The man was begging for his life saying he had children and a wife. Smirking Amara bent down in front of the terrified man and snatched his wallet out of his vest. Looking inside her smile widened.

"Well since you have a tasty looking family I think I will save you for last. You can watch your family get devoured." With a giggle she grabbed the man once again and took off towards his home after crushing his voice box. Oh she knew how to draw people out of the safety of their homes in order to feed on them. Making it to the man's home she brought him around back and broke his legs leaving him off to the side so he couldn't be seen.

Putting on her "scared" face she ran up and banged on the back door crying and screaming. "PLEASE HELP!!! SOMEONE PLEASE!!!! THE MONSTERS KILLED MY MAMA AND THEY ARE GOING TO GET ME!!"

It didn't take long for a woman with golden hair to reach the door and unlock and open it. "Hurry up child come inside. Come on hurry up."

The moment Amara got the invite she let the scared act fall and an evil smirk reach her lips. She reached over and dragged the woman's husband behind her as she stepped into the home causing his wife to scream in terror. With a wide smile Amara drained the woman quickly to get some of her strength back. Leaving the body in the kitchen she dragged the father to the living room leaving him there while she went in search of his two children. "Come out come out where ever you are." She sang as she listened to the heartbeats pick up.

Valdis raised a brow and crossed her arms over her chest. "I don't suggest anything. I did my good deed." she scoffed. "The rest is up to you."

Her head jerked in the direction the gunshots came from and watched the demon fall from the shadows. It was time to have some fun. Glancing at Vasuki she smirked and nodded towards the alley on the other side of the night club. Moving swiftly the two headed into the shadows to confront the small group of humans.

Valdis pulled out her twin blades slicing through the closest man. The way she moved was like a dance as she ducked, dodged and maneuvered through the group killing all that came in contact with her. After she took out the first man they started shooting at her even as she was moving through them. They ended up shooting some of their own which caused her to chuckle at their stupidity.

Vasuki followed behind his mistress at a swift pace while shifting into his full serpent form which partially resembled a king cobra just not the coloring of one. He watched as his mistress danced into the group dropping all that came into contact with her blades. Once the men here distracted her wrapped his tail around two men that were close together crushing them while he bit off the head of another. He continued on with the same movements until the last man fell at the hands of his mistress.

The two worked in perfect sync as they took out the first wave. With the help of them killing their own of course. As they were taking a breather they didn't notice that another group snuck up on them while the gunshots were going off. It wasn't until a bullet went through Valdis' left shoulder did the two realize they had more work to do. Jerking their attention to the other group their eyes widened slightly. There were to many for just the two of them to take on.

Shifting out of his full form he moved quickly to a manhole cover and opened it. The men began shooting the moment he moved and he felt a few bullets hit him before he and his mistress took to the sewers to escape. They were sure some of the men would follow but they would be making a huge mistake because each one would be devoured.

Lilith growled when she was shoved out of the way. With narrowed eyes she pushed herself to her feet ready to rip the leech's throat out. She could feel her blood wanting to mix and fought to control it which was becoming painful. "I dare touch him because he's mine." she growled out.

When the vampire spoke telling her that Christian was in a dream state she didn't respond or even make a sign that she was even listening.

Taking a step closer she growled again as her eyes glowed red. She was loosing the fight against her hybrid form as she watched the vampire hold Bones... HER Bones. Just as she was about to take another step she heard his voice and noticed his eyes were open. Lilith stopped where she was as she stared at Bones with all the love she had for him. She was frozen and couldn't bring herself to move as a single tear slid down her cheek.

Before she had the chance to say anything the sound of gunshots echoed through the silence along with the back door being smashed in. It didn't take long for footsteps to be heard coming towards the basement. A deep growl rumbled through her chest as she took a few steps towards the stairs. Not even looking behind her she crouched slightly. "As soon as you see an opening get Christian out of here."

She knew her injuries weren't healed completely from the fight with Amara but she would be damned if Christian would be taken from her again.

Lilith stopped fighting her blood and allowed it to take control. She could feel her body burning and the pain disperse. Slipping out of Bones' trench she tossed it behind her so it landed right by the vampire's side. Her clothing stretched as far as it could before it began to shred. By the time she was finished there was a small scrap covering her chest and her leather pants became ratty shorts. Due to the belt ,she had her sword strapped to, being slightly stretchy it stayed in place on her hip.

The moment the first man took a step down the stairs she lunged barreling through them. Before the first few men knew what hit them there were two on the floor in pools of their own blood. She wasn't worried about much of anything. She just wanted to clear a path to the roof so the other vampire could get Christian to safety.

It had been a few years since everything had happened with the war and all. They had moved their pack to the mountains away from the city. Neither one wanted to be anywhere near the area because they watched as the humans started figuring out ways to kill anything that was different. It had been years since they had seen their friends.

The only reason why they were even in the city was because they were tracking a demon that had a thing for killing werewolves and they were determined to put an end to it. The two cousins knew what day it was so they kept to the roof tops as they searched for one of their missing pack members. It didn't take them long to spot the mangled body of their "brother". After taking a quick glance around making sure it was clear the two jumped into the alley way walking towards the body.

The eldest knelt beside the body and reached out to touch it. He realized it hadn't even been that long since he was killed. "Gabe he hasn't been gone long. The demon could still be close by."

The younger listened to what was said and turned his attention to their surroundings. He was checking every nook and cranny. Before he could speak the sounds of screaming and then gunshots ripped through the silence. Glancing at his older cousin he watched as he jumped to his feet. "Mike we have to get out of here."

The two look at each other before jumping back to the roof. Keeping low they made their way towards the edge and watched the chaos that was going on below. Neither one moved for a moment as they watched the blood shed. The only thing Mike and Gabe knew was that they needed to find a way out of here without being seen.

Bachael rose to his feet, a scared look coming over the men’s faces. The demon smiled and the smile widened as he heard a familiar voice coming from behind the group. It had been a very long time since had seen Amara but he was able to recognize her easily.

“Thank you, sweet girl.”

He said as she began to take down the men one by one. He was able to turn his attention to the fighting that had spread farther into the street as more groups of men appeared from the shadows. For a moment he considered leaving, it was not his fight or his problem to deal with. He thought this of course until another bullet passed through his chest barely grazing his heart.

He grabbed his chest and winced from the small pain it had caused, his eyes of flame searching the bodies filling the street for the one man who had shot him. His eyes finally found the man, who stood trembling as he watched Bachael in terror.

Pulling out his sword, Bachael leapt at the man with his sword ready to swing, slashing the man almost in half. It had been a long time since he had felt even the smallest ounce of pain and he didn’t plan on letting another human remind him what it was like to feel.

His sword hacked through a few men coming at him, taking them down easily before he felt a knife stab him in the back.

Garrett was unsure of what to do when the bullets started flying. He had never been put into a situation quite like this before and didn’t know if he was truly capable of taking the life of the things he had tried so hard to protect, even through the danger.

He felt a bullet hit him, causing him to howl in pain and swing an arm in the direction, sending one man flying into the nightclub. He became ruthless as he tried his best to protect himself and the witch that was staying by his side.

She had been using her powers to help him heal faster, the pain quickly leaving the wound and the blood stopping as he pushed on through the crowd. They needed to get to a safe place and out of the shooting gallery that was once a very busy street.

Bones was confused when he saw Aerrick kneeled beside him, his brow crinkled until a familiar scent caught his nose. He turned his head to see Lilith.

“I’m dead aren’t I?”

He looked back to Aerrick who was now hooking an arm under him to try to get him up. Aerrick had heard the sounds of the men coming and the guns firing but these sounds had been lost to Christian’s ears.

Aerrick nodded to Lilith, acknowledging her request to get Bones out of the fire. They both knew that he was hit with anything in this state he wouldn’t be able to heal himself and he would surely die.

“Don’t stray, wolf.”

Aerrick said as he watched her shifting, supporting his maker easily with one arm under his shoulders.

“We can’t leave her.”

Bones said in protest as Aerrick saw his opening, forcing Christian to move through the confrontation and up the stairs to the main room of the nightclub. He heard more guns cocking as they emerged from the stairwell. He looked at the few men that had been left topside just in case, and using his strength he threw Bones across the room before the bullets started to fly.

He had come to this city to save his maker, and that was exactly what he was going to do.

“Get out of here!” Aerrick yelled to Bones, who was struggling to get to his feet but was able to prop himself on the wall to try to make it to the roof of the building. Aerrick was wounded several times before he was able to take out the men. To regain himself, he fed on one of the fallen bodies draining it completely.

“Wolf!” Aerrick yelled through the nightclub, hoping the girl had made it through the fray in the basement.

Lilith could feel herself becoming tired but she continued to fight her way through the men. Her body was beginning to move at a slower pace as she managed to block the back door from any more men coming in by shoving one of the large fridges in the way. Turning her attention to the last few that were near her she took them out as quickly as she could., though she had left one alive. Shifting out of her hybrid form she allowed her vampire side to take control.

Lunging for the man she felt a blade dig into her side. Ignoring it she bit down on his neck draining him. Letting the body fall to the floor she removed the blade from her side and tossed it to the side. She could feel some of her strength return along with some of her wounds healing. She was far from being healed fully but the blood flow had slowed a good amount.

She heard the other vampire holler out and she made her way to him. "I'll show you a wolf." she grumbled as she limped over towards him. Looking around she started to become nervous because she didn't see Christian. "Where is he?"

Lilith could feel her heart rate picking up as she turned around trying to find him. It didn't take long for her eyes to land on the one she was searching for and her heart skipped a beat. With what little strength she had she rushed over to him and wrapped her arms around his waist burring her head in his chest. "You're alive. You're really alive and I finally have you back."

It didn't take Amara long to finish off the family. True to her word she made the man watch as she tortured and ended his childrens lives. Though she didn't drain him nor make his death swift. No ... instead she made sure his was slow and painful leaving him to bleed out looking at the bodies of his family.

Exiting the house she made her way back to the fight that was going on with a smile on her lips and a skip in her step.

Making her way back to the roof tops she moved swiftly until she reached her destination. Looking at the bloodshed her eyes were trying to locate Bachael. It didn't take her long to locate him and a wide grin spread across her face. She always did enjoy watching him wield his sword. She found it fascinating because he looked like he was dancing when he moved.

Amara jumped from the roof and landed silently next to Bachael taking out a man that was trying to sneak up on him.

Besides her maker the only other she felt any sort of connection to was Bachael. She didn't understand what sort but she did know that she was kind of happy that she had found him. Hopefully he wouldn't leave again.

The cousins continued to watch the fight below and shook their heads. Just as they were about to leave they noticed a werewolf protecting a woman. With a quick glance at each other they slipped out of their clothing and shifted. Both made it to the ground quickly and headed towards the two.

Ever since Lilith had put Michael in charge of the pack as Alpha, Gabe had become the beta. The two moved swiftly dodging bullets and knocking out the men as they went.

It didn't take the two long to reach the wolf and the witch. The two flanked the woman making sure she was in the center of the make shift circle and safe.

Aerrick didn’t have the energy to move as Lilith started to limp towards him, in fact he seemed like he could care less. He knew that they were both injured and that she would be able to hold her own in a fight as much as he would, which wouldn’t be very much. “Do you worst.” Aerrick spit at her until she asked where Bones was. He made the mistake of glancing in his direction. He didn’t understand the connection that the two of them shared and he started to pull himself to his feet as Lilith basically wrapped herself around Bones.

“So this is what you were doing in this damned town? Chasing the local tail.” Aerrick said mildly as Bones looked up at him. Christian barely remembered Lilith, he only had flashes of memories in his mind of the time before he was put into the coffin, before he had slipped into the coma. His memories told him he should feel something for Lilith as he wrapped his arms around her.

“I’m alive.” He said softly, his body aching and needing to feed.

Bachael had started to turn, swinging his sword down with force until he realized that the man was no longer there. The blade stopped only a few inches away from Amara’s neck before he let it drop to his side, the hilt still firmly gripped in his hand.

He couldn’t help but smile down at her before he kneeled down. “The battlefield is no place for such a sweet girl.” He said with a hint of humor in his voice, knowing very well the power that Amara had. He had complete faith in her ability to take care of herself.

He carefully kissed her forehead before he stood back up in time to take a round of bullets in his chest. His eye visibly twitched with anger.

“That was a bit excessive, yes?” He said as he raised his sword once again, hacking through the men and leaving only few alive on accident.

Garrett hadn’t been expecting the other werewolves to join them and almost turned on them before he realized who they were. He felt bullets grazing his skin but he could also feel his skin piecing together faster than normal thanks to the witches power.

“Over there.” Rachel said as she pointed to a building that seemed to be safe on the outside. She pushed her power out around the circle and tried to hold it for as long as she could, preventing them all from being severely hurt as Garrett started to push towards the building in hopes of finding shelter from the chaos.
