I bought two 500 credit gift cards and never got any bobbleheads =(

gift cards are exempt from bobbleheads, otherwise you could endlessly abuse the system by buying a gift card, redeeming it, buying it back, etc.

You don't get bobbles for buying the gift cards. If you did you could redeem them and buy two more an infinite number of times just for the bobbles. Wouldn't make any sense.
