Only, replace Gypsy with the username you're looking for. Sometimes frozen users and such don't show up in searches.

Yeah, the user is probably frozen, but the account/name isn't cleared yet. You can tell when a name is free when there is a blank page/does show a profile of any kind/doesn't say its frozen.

Shoot, that's the case. If I don't put a name in and go back to my items will I still have the fully working ISS? Or will it lose it's power.

Yup. You'll still have it. Just go to your inventory/don't backspace.

Thank god. I thought it was weird my name wasn't taken, since it's a very common real name. Oh well looks like I'm waiting a while for them to be unfrozen
