Can you have spaces in your username? Or am I utterly wrong?

I'm pretty sure that spaces in a username aren't allowed. Underscores and periods, however, are. (Spaces are only allowed in pet names.)

[edit]

If you're going to change your username, however, you'll not only need a , you will also only be able to use underscores--not periods. (if I remember that little blurb on the ISS page right!)

I realize answered your question. But I would like to say, in case you saw someone like this, that spaces in usernames are allowed upon their original creation. ISSing does not allow a space, but you can have one from the start. Hence why you might see some people with spaces in their UN. This might have been changed, but as far as I know that's still how it is.

Actually, they aren't allowed upon original creation anymore; if you attempt to put a space it says that it is an invalid username. I don't know if they were ever allowed. If they were then them being older users is the only way a space is still viable. These people also cannot, however, be pinged. Unless having a "%" in place of the space works for that.
