Needing Advice for cosplay HA

Yeah... so I decided FLCL needs some mad dog love 'round these parts these days.. So I decided to make a cosplay HA of Haruko. But it seems to be lacking.. ;.;
Anyone have any better ideas on what I can use? Price isn't any concern, just good pieces to use would be well worth it.

I think that would be a better scarf choice.
Also layering over your black leggings would give it a nice bluish tone.
Other than that I can't think of other substitutes without scouring the subeta wardrobe.
Looking for pets with these birthdays!
