Simple question, how does one go about healing their pet?

In battle or outside of battle? Because, that makes a difference. :)

For healing outside of battles the healer is the best choice, it's located at Explore - Riverside Valley.

For healing in battles you might want to check out the battle forums and for example this thread: Click!
