In my October 2011 Collection, I don't have the option to select the Cat Carrier. Is this a glitch?

I think the dog item can be transformed into the cat item

I believe that if you select the dog kennel that you can transform it into the cat carrier and back again as many times as you'd like. They're basically the same item.
