Multiple Gelablobs

I received several Gelablobs and I was wondering if this was an error, or its supposed to be that way because I battled with several pets. Did anyone else get more than one of these?

If you battled with multiple pets, you are supposed to get multiple geleblobs :D I know it happened to a few other people.
