I wanted to teach my pet a scroll...what are Alchemy points and where can I get them? (Sorry I'm a noob in battling).

You get alchemy points by reading your pet books. I believe it's 1 point per every 17 books? (Not 100% certain on the ratio)

I was off by one. Sorry about that =P

normally being off by one is not so important, but for AP it matters that the 16th and every multiple of the 16th point of INT comes from an actual book instead of Mystic Spindles or an intelligence booster. If you do not do that, you don't get your AP for that time around and have to wait for the next multiple.
