Improvement: Quest Givers Now Better at Choosing Unique Items!
Improved the quest item selection so quest givers are much better at picking different items each time you do a quest. You should see much more variety when doing multiple quests with the same NPC in a single day!
Mauve asked for Bongo Drums in 3 out of my 5 quests today...
Saggi is not giving the added bonuses anymore, maiking his sP reward be about 100k per quest, which makes his quests easily not profitable because of how expensive some of the stuff he asks for can be... And it also makes kumos quests to be way less profitable then legacy quests now.
Rumi is asking for very expensive stickers, forcing me to give up on 3 of her quests today. And for context, I hate having to give up on a single quest...
And I feel like the Wizard is giving out less sP than he used to do.
I love the variety of items being asked for - however I did want to point out that Rumi asked for two stickers from the Steamworks Menagerie for me today, is that supposed to happen? I know Quention does it on legacy, but Rumi never has before.
I definitely got a better variety, with just one repeat. Everything was fairly afforadable too, with the most expensive items being around 50k (which has always been pretty normal for Maleria or Sagittarius asks, though the most expensive asks were noteably not just from them anymore). And I agree that without Sagittarius' bonus it hardly seems worth the effort of even doing his quests, since the items he asks for are more expensive then what he's paying out. I was also definitely getting more sP from most of the others than I was from him, which is just...weird. I'm just so used to him being one of the highest paying quest givers on legacy, but on Kumos it's completely opposite so, yeah, it's just kind of bizarre.
Also, I want to note that before today I had been having a lot of issues with not only too many repeat items, but with being asked for insanely priced items that there's just no way I can afford. And, yes, Rumi was especially guilty of this. But, as I said, all of the asks that I got today were pretty affordable, including hers, so thank you for all the hard work Keith! ^-^
Just to add to my comment yesterday - Rumi asked for stickers from Skitters today. I am totally fine with this, was just surprised by the steamworks/skitters items being asked for by Rumi. However, I must say I draw the line at being asked to buy Quest Shop items for quests :o Please can we NOT do that??? I save my quest points and need to buy so many other items (mostly books that I need multiples of or more expensive seasonal items!) and I'd rather not use them for quests. (At least, not until you change the quest shop to be whatever you are changing it to!)
During the past few days I've had to abandon multiple quests because the npc:s are asking for items that are worth millions, for example, Mauve keeps asking for Bongo Drums, as someone else has also commented and those are going for 1 mil. When I started to do these quests at the start of December, I never had to abandon a single quest, maybe I was just lucky in the beginning, but it's really annoying to have to abandon about half of the quests to not lose sP on these.

Only made a 60k profit off of Saggi's quests today. Would have been a loss if the last one hadn't given me 175k instead of the 100k that the other 4 did. And his are the quests where you're meant to make the most profit. This is ridiculous...
Because of Saggi not giving the amounts that he used to I made about 2.7mil from kumos quests (after having had to give up 5 or 6 total), whereas I made about 4.4mil on legacy. Just a week ago both sites had me making about the same amount of profit, each, daily (between 3.4-4mil). And previous days this week were even worse with me only making approx. 2.4mil on kumos, and over a mil more than that on legacy. Seeing as the goal is to make kumos be as profitable, or better, than legacy I can't help but feel like we are going in the wrong direction. And that's with an extra quest giver added into the mix :/
Maybel asks for Buttwings pretty often. The price inflated yesterday, seems to have come back down today due to it being an easy challenger reward. Alexander asked for Pink Fluffy Sofa which is super inflated today. Maleria asked for a Subeautique item, which had no way of returning profit. Mauve asked for Bongo Drums 3 out of 5 times. Rumi asked for My Love Sticker 3 times.
, after reading through feedback from users, would you please consider implementing some sort of price cap on quests? I think that this would significantly improve experiences across the board, as well as even the playing field for new and old users alike. It would allow for competetive pricing among user shops, but it would also keep things from getting too out of hand with price gouging and allow for supply to keep up with demand. I know you've been working hard on tweaking this, and we're grateful. I hope this feedback finds you well, and not too stressed. Cheers!
Just did Rumi's sticker quests, and she kept asking me for an item worth about 2 mil sP three times in a row (I quit the quest each time she asked for it). If there's a way to further randomize item requests between quests, I think that would be very useful!
As an aside, the survey that popped up after I completed my first Kumos quest in a while completely covered the page and would not let me see what I had earned as a reward. I also could not see the button to submit my answers, nor click away to get the survey to disappear. I hit "Enter" on my computer and that seems to have submitted the survey, but I still could not provide an accurate response regarding the reward since I literally couldn't see it lol
Did something happen to Rumi's quests...? Yesterday, she asked me for a good variety of items, and I was able to do all 5 of her quests. But today, she asked me for the My Love Sticker for 4 out of 5 of her quests...it's nearly 2 mil in user shops now. Of course, I quit all 4 of those quests because I figured that there's no way the payout would be worth it. :( I can definitely earn more from the legacy quests vs. the Kumos quests because the legacy quests never ask for such expensive items (and thus, I can actually complete all the legacy quests).
Had to give up on all 5 of Pete's quests today because in every single one he asked for Sushi, which is 180k in user shops (and none in NPC shops), and then 3 other items on top of that expensive one. And he does not pay out enough for that expensive of an item...
Quest issues today: Rumi asked for My Love Sticker (close to 2 mil in user shops) for 3 times in a row, none in npc stores and it's a rare item so not going to wait around for a chance to restock. Got one doable quest in between before she asked for the same 2 mil item again... I had to abandon 4 of her quests as the payout is nowhere near enough to cover that. On Sagittarious I lost money on first gest, 3rd one he asked for a Diamond Scented Perfume (10 mil in user shops), on the other 3 I made some profit. Mauve asked for Bongo drums again but I came prepared with some in my inventory today. He only asked then once, maybe because I gave them to him in the first quest? Pete asked for sushi (120k in user shop at the time) twice. I gave him one the second time just to not waste all my quests, reward was only 93k so not worth it for one quest, but he did not ask for sushi again after that and the remaining 3 quests were profitable so in total made a little profit. Alexander asked for Striped Plush Dragon Cushion (587k lowest in user shop) and Flower Print Bookmark (126k in user shops) both once and there werent many items available, hencethe high price.
I was thinking that it being Lumi might be inflating some prices so there might not be as high demand after, but who knows. Would it be possible to get the npc shop price to show on the item info window? It is really jarring to have to go to legacy to search the items to see what the npc price is if there's none in shops when you start the quest...
I just had the exact same experience with Pete quests as Camilla - asked for Sushi five times in a row. This also happens with other quest givers. They ask for an expensive item, you drop the quest, start a new one, and the same exact item is back again. This includes the My Love Sticker Reiko has seen, which has also popped up multiple times for me.
Oh boy, is this ever going to get better again? Today Alexander asked for 2 expensive beanbags in the same quest. One was almost 600k in user shops and the other was about 240k...
And Pete asked for Sushi in 3 out of 5 quests today...
Maleria asked for a 500k item. Then a 730k item.
Mauve asked for Bongo Drums in 4 out of 5 quests. I know that they are down to 100k now compared to the previous levels, but that is still not an amount I'm willing to pat for a quest item since I'm doing quests to earn sP, not spend about as much on a single item as the quest giver will give in sP reward...
And Rumi asked for a 777k sticker...
Today was a lot better than yesterday with the item variety (yesterday I had to quit NINE quests! Today, only one). But I was still asked for bongo drums (glad it was in stock in NPC on legacy!) And I wanted to add my comments to others about Saggi not being worth it lately - kind of strange to have him give such a low payout. Before this week, I got good profits from him, this week he's stayed around that 100k (highest was 125k I think). Just strange, when other quests gave me more than him!
Saggi asked for Uber Shield and it was 1million sp, I'd hit buy before it registered what I'd just done, but was hopeful the reward pay out would cover it. 100,000 sp. Ouch. (totally my fault for just staring and clicking blindly at the screen.)

Saggi and Rumi are definietly the biggest problems still. Every day they ask for new items that go for anything between 300k to a few mil in user shops. I keep trying to keep an eye on the npc shops to catch some of the expencive items from the previous day, but some I've never caught restocking, and then the next day they both ask for new super expencive items I could not even try to prepare for in advance >.<
Wizard keept asking for white sand Saggi only rewarded 100ish each go, but asked for items 150k + Rumi asked twiche for over 500k items Maybell was fine Librarian asked mainly for candles, some over 5Mil Pete was fine Maleria was well behaved Mauve kept asking for bongo drums
