After you harvested a plot and planted something new, the alert stopped resetting, so it went quiet even with the setting on. That is fixed, and every plant already growing in your garden was reset, so you get your alerts back without replanting anything.
I keep getting false alerts too - often they'll be the same day I had a real alert and a plant ready, but a few hours later. Today I woke up to another one, but my plants have all been growing for over a day and have 22+ hours to go. I prefer this to missing alerts, but it doesn't seem fully functional yet.
Well now it seems to have been fixed because not only did I get a correct alert but it even told me which plants bloomed. Thanks. :D
I don't even have an option to set an alert for any of my 3 plots
If they were events created before this post, then this is the fix specifically fixing that :)
And if you created alerts yourself before this post, those are still going to come in incorrectly, at the wrong time, because they don't account for people visiting your garden.
You don't choose individually but choose if you would like events or not. The alert system just isn't set up for alerting you on something that changes (which garden times do via visitors)
I really like that it told me which plants had bloomed. Very nice. :D
Speaking of the garden, I wonder do the new seeds only come in the rainbow packet or can we get them in the silver or gold also? I've been getting a lot of seeds I already have. Just curious.
the most recent one came after this post, I was online pretty late last night and cleared events but then woke up to one today. It potentially could have been one I set myself not accounting for visitors? But it's been long enough since my last harvest that I'm not sure that makes sense either, it depends how much time visitors can save. Either way I'll keep an eye and see whether it happens again!
Let me know after the next couple (if you've got that box checked!) and I'll investigate further - i'm just really hoping that it's not still messed up 😅
I wish they would put the option in our gardens for others to see our journal & what we've grown so far.

Alerts working fine now and I like that it even tells me which plants are ready. But can we please get an option to let others see our journal to see what we've grown.
Oh wow, I love it that Emma actually gave me a new quest when I harvested her quest plant instead of having to wait until the midnight reset. Hope that continues. That's great. Thanks. Still would like others to be able to see my journal as I have a friend who is asking.
It does? I just received 3 harvest alerts and not 1 plant in my garden is ready. The last one was hours ago and next not for another 5 hours.
