Subeta 👑 New Feature June 9, 2026

Main shops stock deeper and allow for multiple purchases

👑 New Feature: Buy in bulk when the shelf is deep. Any main-shop item with more than 10 in stock has a "Buy multiple" button now: pick how many (up to 20), see the total, and buy the stack in one go. A bulk buy only counts once toward the purchase cooldown. This came from Kumos, a feature people enjoyed.

🔍 Improvement: The purchase cooldown forgives you faster. Heavy buying still slows you down, but a 30 minute break now clears your cooldown completely, and the slowdowns themselves are about half as long as they were.

🔍 Improvement: The main shops carry about twice as much stock. Shops now fill to roughly 665 items instead of 325. Common items come in deep stacks, so if someone corners a cheap restockable in user shops, the main shop keeps selling it at the normal price until the squeeze stops paying. Rare items show up in more variety but in small amounts, usually one or two at a time, and they rotate through faster, so checking back often is worth it.

🎨 Visual Update: The shop page is denser and quicker to read. Less scrolling between you and the item you want: the grid packs more items per row, and item hovers finally work right on the shop page, with the description and a try-on preview for wearables. The hover keeps the shop's secrets, though: no rarity, no resale price. Knowing which item is the find is still your job. The restock time sits at the top of the page, the shop directory shows when each shop last restocked. Buying works exactly as before.

Thank you so much for the updates! I recently got into feeding the trapped minions and I was maxing out the cooldown really quick from buying foods for them after questing and doing my regular restocking of rare items (one crate is only enough to fully feed one minion :P )

Not only is the browsing easier I can also check my account for items. For me that's huge. Yay! Thank you Keith!

Where is the bulk buybutton on Legacy? I didn't see it, unless I missed it?

I love these changes to the shops!

I liked the option to click shopkeeper to refresh the page. It was helpful when I only had one hand free.

I'm very excited about these changes. Thank you so much for making the cooldown shorter!! I also love the buy multiple option, thanks for bringing it over! For that functionality, would it be possible to have the option to type in the number you want to buy rather than just the +/- buttons? I found a stack of 23 I'd like to buy, and it's a little unwieldy to click '+' 19 times to get to the max of 20.

The "discount applied!" text being at the beginning is mildly disconcerting since I think it used to be a sentence at the end in parentheses, and I keep skimming it and then wondering if my discount is working properly.

If you look at a shop like Spells Galore with lots of item stacks, you should see some "buy multiple" buttons! (the bulk buy option only appears for stacks of items of 10+ quantity)

so if someone corners a cheap restockable in user shops

Thank you for this. There's a user who keeps buying up all of one item or another off of shop search, then putting them all in their shop for 50 million sP.

These all sound really helpful. I have to say, adjacent to this, the new search has been amazing for knowing exactly where to find seasonal items instead of just generally somewhere in the beautiful heap of all the years of Esther's shop, for example. Thank you!

This is huge for quality of life updates! The ability to have the item preview & account search right from the page is a total game changer.

The hover is nice, but it does get in the way a lot while restocking.

Is there a chance that a toggle for main shop hovers can be added to site preferences, or something? That way, people who love the hovers can enjoy them, but those of us who find them intrusive can enjoy not having them.

the updates themselves are fabulous, but now I'm paranoid - is anyone else getting the vibe that this post was written with AI? "the squeeze stops paying" and "knowing which item is the find" give me that weird AI-trying-to-sound-trendy ick. 👁️👄👁️

I agree with about the Wishlist button being kind of too big for the product icons. The heart is cute, but it gets in the way more often than the narrow "+Wishlist" button did.

This is a very minor thing, but the main shops feel a little less friendly when the shopkeepers only show up as little corner pictures instead of being big at the top of the page.

here's a quick bit of css to deal with item hovers only on the main pages of shops

.shop-page img.hover-item { pointer-events: none; }
