Quick Sale shelf!

When a cheap shop item gets bought out and relisted at a wild markup, there is a chance it now shows up on a "Quick Sale" shelf at the top of its shop, kept stocked at the normal price. Grab what you need without overpaying — up to 50 of an item a day, so no one can corner it all over again.

You could help lower the price of the item (and auto-pricers) by buying up a chunk and putting them in your shop ;)

Will the items on the shelf change each day or is it basically determined by the overpricing of an item?

I just stumbled upon a book on the shelf, which is not quite 10k in lots of user shops - that's a wild mark up?

Oh that is a nice change, thank you so much! It hopefully solves a lot of problems I (as well as others) used to have lately. Hopefully this helps to keep items at a more stable price.

Main Shop Discount also doesn't apply... Does that mean, these items are stocked solely on the shelf or also in the shop simultaneously?

I saw an item both on the shelf as well as down in the shop, and got the discount on the shop item.

Could anyone explain the ideal gameplay loop of shops for me? I am behind on changes. Are we only supposed to be buying from NPC shops to complete quests?

Oh hum, I think I'll have to see to understand? I have been questing and had trouble with certain items on kumos. I am all for encouraging restocking, but fairly! I just can't quite picture this process in my mind yet. Like...how do we know what's a wildly overpriced item, if we're just emptying our vault and going with the autopricer? If the item is 395sP in NPC shop and 5K in user shops...is that a wild markup?

I'm already seeing 2 rows of shelf items. More scrolling (to get to the actual shop items) - the new hype on Subeta, it seems. The shelf items are for spotting cheaper than user shop stuff on SS, so the shelf could move to the bottom of the actual shop.

And I almost bought several of one from shop search, before realizing the "unlimited" tag, because the border just means "NPC shop" to habit.

Why do I now need to manually use the scroll bar on the comment box, in order to see, what I'm writing?!?!!!

With NPC shops pretty much restocking non stop, the items don't have much value. My guess why some things (not all of them) got so high is because for some reason certain items just weren't restocking. That also seemed to be the same items the quests from the other site wanted.

No, this is primarily targeting items that either have very, very very very little in circulation or have gone to 100x their sell price. So more like 40k in user shops, or more in a lot of cases.

It just isn't fair to new users for those items to basically been unattainable when they're grabbed by a few users into shops, so this system looks for those items and not only makes them available but encourages grabbing them and putting them in their own shop.

This CustomCSS will remove it out on the actual shop page, I agree they're a bit excessive in some shops, but I appreciate the option for Shop Search.

Does trying to deflate items prevent them from ending up on the quick sale shelf? I caught the person inflating items buying a mundane plushie from my shop then watched them buy up every single one in user shops, then put them in their shop for 50m. While they did, I managed to buy a few myself. I waited until the person was signed off (hopefully) and put the plushies in my shop for close to what they were worth before they were bought up, but I only have five, so the stock available really does need to be backfilled. Is the fact that they're in my shop going to prevent them from ending up on the quick sale shelf?
