I also had the same requests repeated. When I did Saggitarius's quest afterwards they also asked for the same items 3 times in a row

While I wasn't asked for the same 3 items as some of the users above, one of the requested items was Unscented Candle which is categorized mundane with a rarity of 25, but it's currently unbuyable. My guess is that it got bought out on purpose with the intention of making library quests incompleteable. (It's easily deductable that a variant of a candle is a required item)
I got the same quest request for an Unscented Candle, and it's currently only available from user shops for 3.9m SP and up. :/
On all five of my quests, Alexander asked for the exact same three items (Lilac Lamp, Tall Aeanoid Lamp, Unscented Candle).
