Free Pet Slot!

I'm sure that you've seen talk about this on the forums, but I just wanted to make a news post making it official!

I'd like to have 2,000 users online at any point between now and November 15th. If we can make that happen, I will give every user who has logged in the past month a free Loyalty Pet Slot Totem which can be redeemed for a free pet slot! (Which means you can get another pet)

Also, if you're online when the 2,000 people are online you get a super cool achievement, an a forum title to go with it!

There are a few topics on the forums where users are trying to organize and make this happen.

....I was online when the user counter went over 2,000....is there a reason I didn't get the achievement? I even posted on here during it....we're we supposed to post a screen shot or something in order to get it?

You need a GA to use if you have 10+ pets.

The gold account seems only necessary if you have had one in the past. My GA expired and I have 10 pets the totem will give me 11 slots but I can't actually use the 11th slot because I don't have the GA. By technicality because I don't currently have a GA I have 5 pets and 5 that I got from the GA. The totem will give me 6 and the GA gives me 5 extra ABOVE that, so you need the GA to get the pet but not for the slot. I think thats right.

Hey guys, you don't need to have a GA to use it, I used and I don't have a GA. It gave me an extra pet slot anyway. pokes Demolition Lovers

sigh I only wanted the achievement and read the forum regulary during this weekend, I didn't want to miss it if it would happen before the scheduled date. But I had to miss it. I'm sad now... but congratulations to everyone online at the right time and thank you subeta, for the pet slot! =)

I was online when it happened and got the slot but didnt get the achievement or the forum title And I know I was not online after the 2,000 because I had been online for a few hours and gradually saw it rise up to 2k...

Yay - thank you so much!! Was online last night (I'm in the UK) and sat and watched the user count go from 1975 to 2310, that was the highest I saw before I gave up for the night - anyone see higher?

For those of you who are saying you were online but didn't get the achievement/title, try checking your achievements in your personal tab and claiming retroactive titles, I never got the achievement notice but I was still granted the achievement and the title, just a thought. I think not everyone got the alert because of the massive amount of lag we were having at that time too. nod

hey anyone else notice something not quite right.. i don't have a gold account but i tried to totem anyways and it worked but now i apparently have 11 slots instead of the 7 I'm supposed to... (i had 6 pets before) I'm going to go and mention this in the bugs forum but i was curious if anyone else had this happen

The heck, you people that are complaining about needing a GA to use the totem. You just got a free pet slot for doing basically nothing. All you needed to do was log the hell in. Stop complaining.

Thankfully I have a 1 Week Gold Account Medal just collecting dust in my vault though I don't even need another pet slot right now....Oh well, I'm amazed at how quickly we were able to reach 2000 though. Nice work everyone! C:

The pet slot is great and all I just wish there was an option to sell it or give it away.. I have enough pets and well really prefer extra GA time but wow at all the users online

8D I appreciate the pet token so so much considering how much its costs to buy an enchanted plush. :p people shouldnt be bawing about needing a GA to use it since that costs a fraction really of what it normally does to get another slot.

Now you need to put 1 week GAs in the Millionaire Center, so that people can actually USE the pet slots :/
