Shockingly, I try not to fix something if it isn't broken.
There were quite a few people who owned BR Devontis. With most of the devonti revamps, there is nothing wrong with the pose or the personality. My goal with those specific colours is to update the quality without losing the original charm that the original pet had.

The Devonti needed shading and lineart updating more than anything. It did not need a repose. Like the Kanis and such, the Devonti is one of the 'Who me?" BR, as several users have noticed.

Well, it's good to see that while some users might be disappointed by our revamps, staff is never disappointed. The people we consistently expect to be disappointed are disappointed.

Good job. Even if it is Bloodred and evil, the Devonti still maintains it's huggable-ness XD The Chelon is awesome too, and I agree now that it's a good thing they're slow on land edges away from the water >.>

AND the Chelon looks amazing, as well! The flowing blood trails make it look almost... elegant, despite the fact it's, y'know. Potential carnage. :'D

Oh my. I love this Chelon as well. The Devonti is great looking, but it's not my type. I'm falling in love with the expressions on both of them, to be honest. 
Yayyy, I'm so happy the BR Devonti's old pose and expression were kept! ;A; I was worried it might get GURO'd up so that it would "fit" with the others, but phew. What a relief~

I must admit that I was never a fan of the old BR Devonti but now it's just amazing. Too bad I don't have a pet that'd match this look.

haha. Chelons definitely make a great blood red pet, because of the movement. I wonder where it's going next.
I really like the chelon, but the devonti looks either scared or surprised, which seems a bit weird since most of the bloodred pets are pretty fierce looking.
I love the Chelon! I don't see much difference when it comes to the Devonti, but it still looks awesome.
