The Chelons face is magical I love it. But, im not so big on the Devonti.
I ADORE THEM BOTH.

Reoku, I'll politely disagree with you on that last point. They're murderous beasts or at least that is how I see them, and so if I get a BR pet it's because I want it to be evil. But that is my opinion, to which I am entitled, like you are to yours 
Good thing I don't like Devontis anyway so it's of no consequence to me hehe!
I actually really love both of these (: The Chelon is great and for a bloodred pet, the Devonti is actually really, really cute. Not all bloodred pets have to be violent / scary looking, which I'm glad to see.
ABOUT TIME, THAT OTHER CHELON WAS FUGLY. I love them, thanks for the updates. The clean-up on the devonti is amazing. Trollop is going to be one, methinks.

I absolutely love the revamp of the BR Devonti, I think it is a simple update of the old art. The BR Devonti had always had a sort of odd innocence to it - which is why I chose it for one of my pets.
The Chelon is quite stunning, I love how sinister is looks. Thank you to the Artists, these are beautiful!
I guess I can't read emotion too well.. Instead of shocked, the devonti looks almost... insane. like, it's happy about the murder and mayhem it's just unleashed with it's wide bright eyes and parted mouth. A sort of "Mommy, aren't you proud of me?" Kind of look, to me atleast. Maybe my screen resolution is too dark?
Anyways, I like them. The chelon is awesome and the Devonti got a fresh coat of blood. Nice work!
The Chelon is amazing. <3 There's not a lot you can do with a turtle-like pet, but that's just perfect.

You can put an overlay over your pet's image. This is allowed.

that chelon is kinda cool for a turtle. the devonti looks like its gonna faint at any moment. I LOVE IT 
I actually didn't vote to revamp the devonti, but I guess that's besides the point now. Anyway, I also hold a degree from an art institute, so I'm not knocking down the staff's abilities. They do a great job. I'm merely stating that I think it would be nice to be allowed to have the option to keep the old color if we'd like to. There's a reason we colored it that way to begin with...we liked it! And it represented what we wanted our pets to be. The BR devonti is a bad example because it was hardly changed. But some of the other ones had larger changes. Oh well. If it can't be done, it can't be done.
Devonti looks great...
The Devonti is looking pretty nice, though I miss the glazed-over eyes of the old one for some reason. It looks a little bit TOO shocked now. xD; Still nice, though.
When you vote for a revamp, you don't vote only for the Common revamp.
You vote for a total specie overhaul. It makes no sense to revamp the Common Torrent to a koi, and not revamping the others to follow the common.

As far as I know, our Creative Department are mostly all art professionals. They know how anatomy, lineart, shading and everything else related to art.
Our benevolent art directors are deciding what is consistent with the site's art, may it be item art and such.
The old Devonti's main issues were, in my eyes (DISCLAIMER - PERSONAL OPINION - NOT STAFF OPINION - PERSONAL OPINION) the wet-glossy shading the body had, and the lineart.
The new version is a bazillion billion time superior with both of these. Therefore, it pleases me

The BR Devonti is amazing. I've been a fan of the old BR Devonti, and I like this one just as much. Though after someone pointed out the weird back legs, it just keeps bothering me. Did the old version have the weird back legs, too? And the Chelon is... well... A Chelon. Sorry, I just don't have anything to say about it. 
I love them both. The Chelon is amazing. He looks as if he's just gone on a rampage. And the Devonti is a great re-vamp. Not much was needed, and that's exactly what was done. Great job, kudos to the artist!
I like the Chelon. They have something I miss in the Paralixes. And I don't get why people are complaining about the Devonti, it looks like a better version of the old one.
Love both of 'em. The Chelon's absolutely amazing, I love the flow to it and the blood, and the Devonti was nicely touched up. I didn't actually realize it has been changed when I first glanced at it, but now I see that the shading is SO much nicer. It looks lovely. The expression is just... 
And that blood! Mmmm.

Hah I was waiting for someone to yell at me. Anyway. I can deal with the BR devonti because it is almost exactly the same (though I loved the way the old version was colored and the old one's face was cuter) Though I am still annoyed that they don't bother to ask us whether or not we would like revamps on colored pets. Or perhaps give us the option to keep the old colored version. The things cost a lot of money to color and then suddenly get changed into something that, sometimes, looks completely different. Like in the case of the GY Kerubi.

They are looking rather nice :3. The only problem (as some earlier user mentioned) the devonti has a wierd thing going on with his hind legs, but other then that, both came out really well ^^.

Most BR pets have heterochromatic eyes, usually green/red. It was started a long time ago, and I had a theory about it. It involved Sin and Virtue, most of it
But, Luxe told me it was just artistic license. So, no major reason.

They didn't give it a new pose because it was perfectly fine the way it was! You guys didn't complain when the Reborn Ruffie didn't get a revamp, or the Reborn Malticorn. Only reall outdated pets like the Angelic Sheeta get complete revamps and for good reason. And as for the color of the Bloodred Devonti goes, if you've noticed, they follow a certain pattern of colors for each special color and that's why they were were changed slightly. Seriously guys. Be happy with the pets! They're amazing! xD

These are rather nice, honestly. The only qualms I do have is how long the chelon's neck is and how splayed the devonti's back legs are, but, other than that, they came out really nice. c; If I had the room, I would definitely get the BR Devonti now. I liked it for a while now, but the shading was enough to throw me off of getting one when I had the chance.

It had that kind of assassin glance before, now its face is too dark and i can't see it well as before ç_ç Its fur is better now, right... but its face has something different. it's beautiful, but i'm sorry, i like the old one more!
