Beautiful work Im so glad to see the Devonti has the same exoression and pose as it did. The innocent and gore actually makes them look just too psychotic...like they just slaughtered someone and don't remember a thing about it, I don't know why anyone would complain about the innocent look, that makes it even more evil in my opinion. 
I love the expressions on their faces, especially the chelon's.

I really like the Chelon, especially the gems on its back. The Devonti is also nice. I'm glad the appearance of the pet didn't really change. I always liked the idea and facial expression of the bloodred devonti.

You know. I looked at the Devonti and went, "Oh look, it kept it's pose, and got prettier at the same time. Maybe now, there won't be any complaints."
...But somehow I was horribly wrong.

The Devonti looks different somehow (well, obviously, but you know)--I think it's the look on its face. It's just not as... intense as it was before (were the irises moved or something?). The horns and fur do look much better though, as does the blood, but I'll probably end up using the old art

Oh those look nice~ I'm not a big fan of the Chelons but I even think that looks neat. I loved that the Devonti's blood tainted innocence was not changed. I always thought it looked unique and nice. I can't wait to see what you guys do with the BloodRed Antlephore! :3

Hey, good job! I love the chelon's expression. Fits perfectly for bloodred. And, I do like the revamped bloodred devonti.
Just a few things I thought I'd repeat since they are mentioned in nearly every pet release.
Requesting a pet colour to be done is insulting to the artists who made these and will only make the artist more likely to not draw it soon.
Revamps of special colours will never be polled.
The Creative department chooses which pets are revamped and how much they will be revamped. If the pet has old art or has recently been revamped to have it;s characteristics changed, it's special colours will be revamped. Whether or not the old pose and personality is kept depends on the anatomy and the nature of the pet, which in turn the artists chooses.
I think I've covered all that. I swear we need an FAQ on this, so us staff artists don't have to repeat ourselves.
Oh and thank you to all those who like the Bloodred Chelon! I had fun with the pose and blood! I also thought the same.. how can the blood be thick but he is under water? Simple... HE IS FLYING! Well... jumping through something bloody? Yes, it is enough to make your brain explode so try not to think about it shall we xD?

As someone who actually has a BR Devonti, I really couldn't be happier that it was only improved, rather than changed. Quite frankly, it wouldn't have mattered how much I may have loved it in a different pose/expression.. if it ended up looking evil, I wouldn't have kept it because it wouldn't have fit my character at all anymore. I agree that just because something is bloody doesn't mean it has to be some snarling beast. There's diversity in evil.
That said, thanks, Arbor, for improving on the original art.

Is it just the bloodred Devonti that has mis-matched eyes? It so reminds me of my hubby! Part of the reason I fell in love with him, is his eyes.. One is green, the other is Blue.
