I am a little on the sad side.

Some of the things I like about the original Angelic Keeto are the softer colors (lighter grey), the sharpness in the wings, the dark border contrasting the light blue eye, and the relaxed look of the pose.

But I know Subeta wants all its pets to match nowadays (black lineart), so I understand the change. There's no lack of pretty pets here but you can't please everyone. Just allow me a minute to be an ornery conservative. u_u

I'm going to go put this keeto on my list of pets to get.
In fact, I might go buy a MDP just for that purpose.

The artists are there to do their job they get the money for, they're neither here to please you nor to that we care about their feelings. And you can't be a Subeta-artist while caring about the users feelings, because you'll always annoy owners with every revamp and make them sad, just because of the different tastes. I never got why comments are enabled for revamp-news, once released they don't get changed anymore soon.

You're right no other petsite lets users have a say in how their pets are revamped, that's what made subeta special.
Never mind that despite the positive comments quite a large number of keeto owners are unhappy with the change and are already considering changing it into something else.
I'm sorry I don't mean to offend the artist who worked very hard on this beautiful image it's just that to me, it's not the pet I fell in love with :/

Rah- I don't know any other pet site that compulsively revamps art that's perfectly fine. Having said that, since when is Subeta a pet site again? First it was, then it wasn't, now it is one again?

I love it.
Although my Keeto is Hydrus, so I can't change him. But the Kanis now looks like a bunny. xD

I hate the new Keeto. I got myself one because I loved the look on his face - and the face. Now it's much smaller, the expression has been ruined and it looks like a run-over beaver.

I'm sitting here with my fingers crossed waiting for spectrum to get re-drawn. I LOVE the new keeto art so much, and I can't wait to see what happens.

Big improvement upon kanis!
I'm not sure why keeto was redrawn though - old one was possibly the best angelic pet out there. I hope galactic keeto doesn't suffer the same fate - it's my favorite pet on the site.

I know others do not care much for the revamp but I absolutely adore the new Kanis.

Cause I think the way that you have polls and open to peoples comments are wonderful! Because as an artist myself, I know sometimes, spite having years of experience, there are times you do a little mistake they may be so easy to fix, and to open to hear it and actually do something about it is a great quality to an artist, and it's a way to learn as well. =3
I would get sad if comments were to be shut off (though I could understand it) because there is SO much critical and non constructive comments being made. So what I'm trying to say is that I just want to make sure that support for all your work is herd as well! x3

I love the new Reborn Kanis, would be nice for my Minas Tirith but I'm not sure yet. The Keeto so far looks a bit unfamiliar to me, don't have one but a good friend does and I got very used to the Angelic Keeto's old look from visiting her profile. It's well drawn nonetheless.

I don't know why people complain about the look the keeto is giving O.o I think it's implied in the name angelic that it's not a "evil" creature theme to it.

While not as cute as the angelic popoko, I definitely love the new keeto. I never liked the old one

As for the Kanis, I personally think the shading seems really off. There's a highlight beside the darkest color, and shouldn't it be the other way around? But the new pose and fire is wonderful. <3

I'm going to back Rah up on that one- When you voted for the species revamp, you essentially decided you were okay for the other special pose colours to resemble the commonpose pet. Individual pets have never been polled, at least for as long as I've been here.

...I'm kind of hoping the gy Keeto gets a total redraw from some of the comments I've read, too.

I don't know why, or what it is exactly, but I'm not a fan of the revamps either. I'm truly sorry, I've really loved all of them, but this one just strikes me weird.

I can't say I like either of the revamps.

The faces on both just look weird.

The Keeto looks a little confused or unsure of something and the Kanis... I just don't like it's small mouth and shiny cheeks. Makes it look like he's eating.

Love these new revamps ^^ The Kanis looks awesome and I'm loving all the shading on the Keeto X3

The only thing off I'm noticing with it is the lack of head scar, unless that was intentional ^^

There are actually quite a lot of happy keeto owners too from this news post, and potential new angelic keeto owners. The keeto now looks like a keeto. Whilst the old art was nice in its own way, it didn't really look like a keeto. The new one will be staying, it's now consistent with the species.

I'm really not sure where people are getting the idea that they SHOULD have a say in what happens to your pets. The fact that we poll the common pose of a revamp to the species is actually a real privilege - I don't know of any other site that does that, and then makes changes to further please the users.

It simply isn't an efficient use of our time or money to put up a poll for every thing that's revamped.

Wow...

As pretty as the new Keeto is, I'm quite sad now. It lacks the Panache of the old one... The Keeto was the one reason I wanted an Angelic Potion.

It's head is a tiny bit too small, but otherwise, it is pretty. -Smiles- Will miss t he old one tho'. This one's much less... Spunky.

Really gorgeous Kanis tho'.

I loved the old one, and I'm not really big on the new keeto...I guess it's good I haven't made her one yet- So I guess it's time I find another pet for her.
Otherwise, the art is nice...The wings are pretty. :3 ut the head through me off- I'unno, I guess the nose looks to big to me and the head too small. ^^; Shading is nice.

And I love the reborn kanis. XD It looks so cute. :3

cries my keeto ;_; why did you have to change them? Akelus was perfect, he was my first angel pet. and now i don't like him at all... there are other angel pets that need revamps, but the keeto was perfect..... sorry i don't want to be rude i'm just really disappointed now...

dear artists. thanks for updating the art, and we love the new shadings and everything, but pleeease try and keep the characters and expressions of the pets as 'original' as possible.. I adopted my keeto for example because it had a certain "character" to me and if that gets changed, I just feel it's..a different pet, and not my original anymore, even though the shadings and poses look a lot better. I'm sure many other subetians feel the same way, especially those who use their pets for RPing...

Sigh...I dont like the angelic keeto change. The attitude and the face are so different...I mean, the art is great, but its just not the same anymore. Ill have buy another angelic potion now to switch species. Im sorry, I dont like complaining. The art really is good.
