Sebastian Phoenix has been tinkering away all weekend on a plan to raise the User Shop Limit to 50,000,000sP per item. He worked very hard, and the Subeta Senate passed it without any problem, as long as it continues to benefit the economy.

For those of you will run around screaming like you've just had your heads chopped off that this will ruin the trades. The trades are for trading. As in, items. For items. And other items. And maybe sometimes.. more items.

i think the limit is way too high. 10 mill would be enough...

i wouldnt buy a GA medal now. the lowest is at 4mil. the price will probably go down fast enough.

oh yes vegetable maybe the GA medals will go down. one good point for me so far.

December 31, 1969, 7:00 pm by safariforme

and how about the unchartered map pieces. you wont be able to sell a whole set anymore.

I like how now I can buy GA's without scrolling down and looking for cheaper ones owned by users who haven't been on in months.

December 31, 1969, 7:00 pm by Deleted User

this is an awesome idea. great point with the trades are for trading items. people should stop moaning about it hehe.

well... that's that I guess. I think it's all ruined. There are items I want... saving for. Got two of them already at prices that should be a sin. I actually feel bad for those who saved and worked hard to get items that are now marked so low it makes a person feel like crap.

And what about those of (cough) us who spend WAY too much money in the cash shop? Those items will drop so low that it could make a person want to just shoot themselves or something. (figure of speech)

Seriously, this is not a good idea. Sure, it's convenient but only for the person purchasing an item.

December 31, 1969, 7:00 pm by Deleted User

Good job on raising the limit. Too many people were trying to use the trades as shops.

Second point: Undercutting shouldn't be feared. Let them sell for so much less...then buy them out and resell for a profit. Undercutting is actually beneficial, if you know how to take advantage of it.

Third point: The Trades have actually worked for me TWICE in the time I've been a member (since Jan. I believe). Why on Earth would you make an offer, then retract it five minutes later? Why bother making the offer at all?

The only thing this will do is allow for the more expensive items to actually sell, instead of just sit somewhere, gathering VirtuDust(TM).

...End Transmission

i dont like the new idea. i like the fact that i could accept something from my wishlist or a GA medal. it worked very well for me.

Also, I COMPLETELY agree with Dawniefer.

Please stop the undercutting! (It hurts more than just yourself..)

Ok so what about the idiots that don't realize how much an item is actually worth and they price their stuff at 2mill when its really worth 8 mill (just an example) That will drop the value of everything down! I already see things priced at 5 mill, then the next one priced at 3 mill! Do people EVER check prices before pricing their shops? Also, don't they realize that they don't have to undercut by millions? All you need to do is check the price and undercut by 1sp.. yours will be ON TOP and BOUGHT FIRST anyway! Grrr

loving this! now we don't have to wait for people to be online to purchase/trade the things we are looking for..and we don't have to deal with those people who ARE online, but still have no courtesy to accept or reject...as if they hold all the power...oh yes...you know who I am talking about!

...Not sure whether I like this or not.
I'm not going to complain unless it starts hurting the economy, but it sure does look like a great way to deflate the rarer, yet less popular, items on Subeta.

December 31, 1969, 7:00 pm by Deleted User

Youn know what?
Most buyers have no money and try to trade for items so your shopjunk still will rot AND deflate

Sweet! Now I can actually sell my stuff and not have them just sitting in trades for months on end. And I can now buy something and not have to wait around forever for the person to accept.

Hmmm. I can see the downside and the upside to this.
Upside - no more rotting trades! Whee!
Downside- those silly undercutters
Upside - some falsely inflated items will go down too. =)

your all right about that, but i guess even without the autoprice-limit being high, the prices deflate... i just checked an item: one was for 15mill and the next for 10mill ´

I think this is a little dangerous due to all the outrageous undercutting that goes on in shops. It seems like this will only work to deflate items, as it is easier to undercut someone in a shop than in trades.

December 31, 1969, 7:00 pm by Deleted User

Sadly this means High priced items will be worth virtually nothing, Even when I had items worth 1m and in my shop mine wouldn't get bought by the end of the day the item is down to 300k O.o lovely I dislike this idea

December 31, 1969, 7:00 pm by Deleted User

Does the autopricer work properly now? I kinda PAY for it, I don't want it to work only partially (under x amount).

December 31, 1969, 7:00 pm by ossizwerg
User Avatar

As i already posted here, for those who got a problem with the low autoprice-limit check the suggestions and ideas section in the forums. i made one called "Autoprice-limit"... i thought about it again...it´s ok with the 50mill but...the autoprice-limit cry

December 31, 1969, 7:00 pm by kokoMO

User Avatar

Yeah, lower it to say 10m, but leave the autopricer alone. It's bad enough as it is. Let people just hand price items above 250K. Shouldn't be too many in no time at all =/

December 31, 1969, 7:00 pm by Deleted User

when will the autopricer show prices higher than 250k since the range has now increased so dramatically?

December 31, 1969, 7:00 pm by Moguri
User Avatar

Thank you so much. XD Trading posts are for trading, not hoarding items and reselling them for a huge amount or price fixing. Now that there's a set price, nobody can go around looking for the price they want and not accounting that there's many other in the trades and they're not all worth 20 million each.

December 31, 1969, 7:00 pm by EscapedPixel
User Avatar

I'm 50/50 in this idea. It has it's pluses and minuses. I do think the auto pricer should now price higher and for those of you craving interaction use the forums.

P.S. - I do think 50 mill is a bit high, about 10 mill would be nice. Yeah but that is just me. SHRUGS

I'm not making any assumptions until I see what comes of it. I can see the advantages and disadvantages here, the main ones being that it's good because you don't have to wait for people to get online to see your offer/to get offers but this might increase undercutting a considerable amount. Ah well, lets see.

December 31, 1969, 7:00 pm by NaRaNa

i like the idea! finally i don't have to wait for offers thank you!

December 31, 1969, 7:00 pm by Crawler

I dislike this idea somehow, although it might be sometimes good if you are quickly looking for an item lets say for item hunter, but mostly I see this idea only making more trouble due to price undercutting.
And I loved the trades as an place for selling UBs not only for trading it for a different item. 50mil is way to much.
