The other reason that it can't be the amulets, Tomes, shards is that they don't go by those actual colors, but by Earth, Life, etc., and some argument could be made that the colors of the amulets, etc. aren't those colors at all, as the one definitely appears to be more grey than black. I'm not sure that I'd call the other color white either.

yay I got it right, I thought rainbow first but then realised Black isn't in the rainbow so had to have a little think then gems popped up

As I said, they can't all actually be readily seen in that image, so that would have been totally unfair. The colors were fairly obviously a set of something, and just the color would not qualify as specifically Subeta related, which the answer has to be, as it would also be the non-Subeta related answer. The only very specifically Subeta related correct answer is Dream. You can accept it or not, as you choose, but I really can't spend any more time in debating/re explaining why there can only be the one correct answer.

Not only are the mage amulets those colors ...
the shards that come from them are those colors ...
the tomes that come from them are those colors.

So there are actually 3 sets of items that include that list of colors minus purple. That's why I thought it was "easy"

There is no rainbow tome or rainbow shard.

I recall a while ago there was a trivia involving a word spelled on the fin of a Galactic Torrent. That is MUCH harder to see then this is.

If the rules were changed to not allow something that small, why was nothing said so people would not make the mistake? And I wouldn't call Dark Matter Dice obscure. Just because you haven't played it for awhile doesn't mean that other people haven't and that its not a fairly popular game.

And really, now that I think about it, dream is the only Subeta-related answer that explicitly fits (since there's no dark matter dice that are white or black). So I don't see many grounds for complaining about the dice thing. :

Once again, I just looked in the right place... my INVENTORY. I was sitting with some Green Gems, some Blue Gems, and some Yellow Gems, and that got me thinking. So I took inventory on all the gems I knew of, and sure enough each of those colors was there except the Dream Gem (it would have been too obvious to place that in the sequence)

Now on to this one!

Well, a lot of people really wanted that egg; the pie I would doubt would be as popular an item. A million isn't a bad price for a wanted item like the Egg was.

Debi, I'm not talking about on the Color chart for the game, I know that if the Spectrum one wasn't on there it would not have counted.

You never clarified it was part of an actual list of specific colored items in any way, and as such a string of colors can and will be interpreted as a what they are - colors. The Spectrum matter from the game has all the colors asked for in the trivia except one missing color /on the image itself/.

And since its found in a Subeta game, it most definitely is Subeta related.

An image that tiny and obscure could never be used for the Trivia; a number of our users have vision problems. To be honest, I can't even see all of the listed colors as being present in that image. That's basically just grasping at straws.

But it really sincerely isn't. Black and White are mot on the DMD colors list, so purple would possibly be the correct non-Subeta related answer, but definitely not the correct Subeta related answer. But at least there were still a good number won, so it shouldn't be a ridiculously expensive item.

That is one specific image that has all the colors listed for the trivia, minus one. Its not some random obscure item that's part of a set or anything like that.

That fact that she didn't say what "colour" is missing made it actually very clear to me ( although I thought of Dark Matter Dice too first, but as she said, there is no black or white so the only thing left were the gems)

True, there are no Black and White dice itself, but there is clearly black and white on the dice. The face is black, the eyes white.

The trivia didn't say one way or another whether the colors in the list were referring to actual colors or a list of items. If that had been included or hinted I wouldn't have a problem. Just having a list of colors and saying what is missing can lead to my answer or the Dream Gem.

Yes, the Dream Gem is the more straight forward answer, but without clarification mine is just as right as that.

I put Purple as the most logical answer. I kind of panicked because 3,000 people had already answered the trivia. So I thought it would shut down at any time. Stupid me ~ it stayed up for another 24 hours. I should have just taken my time and looked further.
