As for me, I've actually lived in the darned state of Pennsylvania for the past 20 years (which should have given me an advantage) but I have lived with this particular day being called something in all our school newsletters and newspaper announcements and now find that it's more commonly called something else on the internet. I have, therefore, failed this trivia. weep

Techniqually, you haven't failed this trivia yet, not until the answer is given out. So don't worry, there is still a chance that your answer is the right one, hehe. Honestly I'm not so sure if my answer is correct neither. Too much information on internet :p

It isn't actually a real holiday, technically; it is asking the first day of... what specifically... (two words). I finally made search give me a couple of the other answers mentioned, but they're obviously incorrect; this is specific.

Meh. I think this trivia is equal-acess, as long as you've got the internet.

(Which you obviously do, or you wouldn't be reading this XD)

Penn. people may get a slight boost.. but no more than someone who's a Cryptography major getting a boost on a code-based trivia...

And it's hard to write a non-subeta based trivia that doesn't involve one group or another.

Good point, Lilith... I put the holiday name... and I can totally see how that can be confusing

The format says specific, this day is only for one very specific... whatever it is... XD There are other days that cover others; this is just for the one extremely specific thing.

I think I might know what it is, but I kinda have two answers, and you said be specific. And that it's 'unusual', but I don't find it so unusual... D; -so confused-

Who knows, maybe I'm even wrong. Though I've been researching for the past 20mins...

It would be the most commonly used "official" term for it. This happens to be a specific state related Trivia; we've had French, Mexican, Irish, English, Scottish, etc. Trivias in the past. But a US based site will tend to use predominantly US based Trivias.

The schools, the local papers, the news - we've only called it one way since I've lived in PA for the past 20 years. I would hate to lose this if other PA locations call it something else.
