A new trivia question has been added!

Darn it, I too went for safe, rather than combination ![]()
eurgh. I put in 'safe'. XDD
Pfft.
I just going to spend the sp and buy the damn deer. xD

As for me, I've actually lived in the darned state of Pennsylvania for the past 20 years (which should have given me an advantage) but I have lived with this particular day being called something in all our school newsletters and newspaper announcements and now find that it's more commonly called something else on the internet. I have, therefore, failed this trivia. weep
I'm giving up. That deer totally freaks me out, anyway. It's voldy-creepy. Niyah O.O

Aww
I got it wrong then? Well, if I have to buy the cute little critter, I guess I'll have to...
Shame on you, scandal! I'm in Michigan, and I know it XP
I love when people complain about google-able trivias being biased XD
It isn't actually a real holiday, technically; it is asking the first day of... what specifically... (two words). I finally made search give me a couple of the other answers mentioned, but they're obviously incorrect; this is specific.
haha now i'm second guessing myself after living in pa for 27 years. thwaps
Meh. I think this trivia is equal-acess, as long as you've got the internet.
(Which you obviously do, or you wouldn't be reading this XD)
Penn. people may get a slight boost.. but no more than someone who's a Cryptography major getting a boost on a code-based trivia...
And it's hard to write a non-subeta based trivia that doesn't involve one group or another.

; border: 1px solid ; font-family: georgia; font-size: 10;">I just have a problem between where it says what holiday is it and where the question says the first day of ... what? I hope it is asking for the name of the holiday not what it is the first day of.
The format says specific, this day is only for one very specific... whatever it is... XD There are other days that cover others; this is just for the one extremely specific thing.
I think I might know what it is, but I kinda have two answers, and you said be specific. And that it's 'unusual', but I don't find it so unusual... D; -so confused-
Who knows, maybe I'm even wrong. Though I've been researching for the past 20mins...

It doesn't matter if you're in AU or not.. Google works for you Aussies too XD But yes - wording will tweak a zillion people out. Think it through.
these type of questions are unfair to people in australia and NOT the usa =(
It would be the most commonly used "official" term for it. This happens to be a specific state related Trivia; we've had French, Mexican, Irish, English, Scottish, etc. Trivias in the past. But a US based site will tend to use predominantly US based Trivias.
I found 2 different holidays, none of them seems to match. Google had failed me! Darn it.
Well, there are a bunch of different names for today.. but only one I found that specifically mentions Pennsylvania ![]()
Ohh, I just checked the orb out. It's pretty awesome, it's wearable AND a weapon ![]()
Thanks for the awesome prize, Debi ![]()

thunder orb^^
OMG SEXY PRIZE ![]()
I have two possible answers; one is more specific, but one is more common...nooooo....![]()
Is anyone wearing the Thunder Orb so I can see what it looks like? I feel too sleepy to attempt HA design or operate heavy machinery - good thing that back hoe is in the shop.
there are a few 'possible' answers to this one, but one specifically that is correct. XD ?
A-ha! Found it! giggles Great one Debi!
Now that I've read the page, I see where it specifically said combination. It still sucks that I got it wrong.
I have found at least 2 answers for this... so apparently I'm not searching the right words...
Not everything is about the US. ;/

; border: 1px solid ; font-family: georgia; font-size: 10;">Hmmmm... It's generally only put one way; all six sites I hit searching said the same thing. The first Monday after Thanksgiving is really only one specific thing.
Uh oh.. this is one where I know the answer and there are numerous ways to put it.
I'm just hoping what I put was specific enough. :/
I put safe as well, doh!
I can come up with at least 3 things that could be right. x_x I guess one of the three seems most appropriate or obvious. But, ah, I don't wanna mess up.
The schools, the local papers, the news - we've only called it one way since I've lived in PA for the past 20 years. I would hate to lose this if other PA locations call it something else.
Alright, put it. Hope I phrased it right XD.
I found the answer, but it seems like there's a few ways I could word it and be 'specific'. ;_;
I'm sorry, but your answer of safe for the trivia was incorrect.
=C
No, it won't be re-used; close to 1,000 were won.
The safe doesn't change, the combination, which is the numbers, does. The page even says that the combination changes.
Deb how many got the trivia..lol I want that orb, wonders if it'll be in another trivia
Some school districts already had a snow day, so not all might have off, but the majority do.
ARG I was going to put combination but... put safe instead :'(
Hmmmm... It's generally only put one way; all six sites I hit searching said the same thing. The first Monday after Thanksgiving is really only one specific thing.
Yeah, but I've found at least one Penn. school district that apparently -does- have school today.
Public school.
Unless I'm just reading their calender really, really wrong or something.
Your answer combination for the trivia was correct! Youve been given an Thunder Orb and 123sP!
Hurray!! I soooo wanted that prize =D
I'm sorry, but your answer of safe for the trivia was incorrect.
I disagree with this....... >![]()
oooh ! i know alllll about this new trivia being from PA and all 8D yay for something east coast.
It's a minion, so like always, if I fail the Trivia, I gotsta pony up the dough
