Now I've investigated the whole clown sighting thing I have to agree it is a bit in bad taste.

A guy in Sweden has been stabbed. In the UK a kid was hit by a car and a guy attacked and pulled down the street. It's not just prats being silly, some of it is getting violent.

I don't really see how it's in poor taste to release these items, clowns have been associated with Halloween and spooky things since forever.

It would have been worse if the descriptions directly referenced the real life clown sightings, which they do not.

Honestly, don't let a few idiots ruin the fun for people.

Yeah and Lilo and Stitch originally had a plane crash climax which they swapped for obvious reasons. Even if they're just pixels, I can't help but be squicked that these were still released with what's happening right now.

Also the art on the actual suit part is really nice. Like the shading on the one that references Pennywise. And I like how the little puffs down the front were done.

If we start saying that clowns are in poor taste because currently people are dressing up as clowns to create havoc and scare people...there are so many more things we'd have to cut out of Morostide.

These are all referencing clowns in media that generally have been tied to halloween movies/shows: American Horror story, pennywise, halloween, poltergeist, and Metalocalypse (these are not the order of them in the news post). We’re not trying to make fun of the IRL situation with clowns! That’s why these are being released now, since it’s Morostide.

I don't see how this is in poor taste. In general, the people dressing up just seem to be idiots who want to get a rise out of others? I'm not condoning it by any means, but honestly, clowns have already been ruined in real life for Halloween because of these idiots. Having them on Subeta doesn't seem like a huge issue.
