Subetapedia: Pet Lore

After all these years, we figured it was time to pay some much deserved attention to the history of our ringleaders. Have you ever wondered how big our pets are, or a bit about their demeanor? Think you know how to pronounce their names? Well think again!

Now, we begin the unveiling of <a href=http://subeta.net/subetapedia/index.php?act=view_cat&id=11>the lore of our pets! We hope you'll enjoy the beginning of what will soon be a vast encyclopedia of information spanning across all of Subeta (how do you pronounce that anyway?) For now, dig into 10 of our most popular pets!

The header made me hope that Alexander's art was updated. You tricked me. I second MrCool, that'd be a good additive. Morostide is still missing ? Lain's are tiny. I don't know why I thought they would be bigger, like an Eagle or something. This is precious.

I did see in the Montre entry a part called "Famous Montres", so for consistency, I think that would be helpful among as many species as possible (though I do understand for species such as the Darkonite where there are no NPCs at all for that species not having that section). I do feel Louis L'Maur (however you spell it) should also be listed alongside Oslyae in the Montre entry.

Also, Some of the NPC art is badly outdated. It would be nice to put the revamped versions there instead.

Apparently I've been saying "Darkonite" wrong too.... I thought the emphasis was on the DARK so I always called them "DARK-oh-nights". ;w;

My dear feli has been my main pet since, well, I created my account, haha~ I'd really love to get some background on our dear shopkeepers, too, though!

Yuzu- I pronounce it the same, but I think it's probably a pun on the word "subete", since the website offers pretty a bit of everything for everyone, and "beta", since it's a work in progress.

It would be nice to know how it really is pronounced though. If we're going with the beta part, it probably is soo-bay-tah. (Not that I'd pronounce it that way anyway~)

OH YAY! I've always wondered if I've been pronouncing things right! For example, "Montre". It IS "mahn-trey", isn't it? Also, "Subeta". It's a Japanese word that means... female dog, to put politely, haha. And in Japanese, its pronounced "soo-beh-tah", so that's how I've always pronounced it. (Granted... I pronounce a lot of things the Japanese way. I guess that's what I get for having been learning it for so long!)
