I'm not much of a battler but I've been training my pet consistently and was wondering if there's a point where I should stop using the trainer and start using stat boosters instead? It costs 40k for one training session atm, is it still worth it?

I personally kept using the training center until I capped, though with the time and the money I was usually just using it on a specific stat while doing other things too. Stat boosters and EXP from fights will be your main sources of stats after a while, but the training center still gives 1-3 stats a session and might as well keep using it until you can't anymore.

The training center gives about 1.33 stats per session (without autotraining) so I'd say it's worth it until it costs you 133k per training session, because around that time boosters will become cheaper. That's typically well into tier 13.

was wondering if my T9 pet can beat Rita running this set-up and an aftershocks scroll:

chose the light, dark and physical blockers from the legend combos. the theory is if i blast her weapon that does ice and wind, i can block and/or heal through the rest of her icons. thanks for taking a look

Remember that you can also mod your weapons. The legendary combos have 4 slots each, where you can add some ice and wind block if you wish.

You'll probably be okay. It's possible to win down a tier or two from the tier recommendations. I'm usually conservative with the number I pick, so almost anyone should be able to get 5 wins on her at T10, but if you plan to really try and are confident in what you're doing, T9 should be doable.
